“Kids of Carcassonne” Quick StartObject:Be the first to play all of your figures on the map (or the most, if you run out of tiles).
Set-up:
1) Shuffle all the tiles and place in several (face down) piles around the table
2) Leave the middle of the table clear for a place to begin placing the tiles to build the map.
3) Each player chooses a color and takes the 8 figures of that color4
) Take 1 tile from a stack and place it face up in the center of the table to start the game
5) Choose a starting player at random
How to Play:1) Players take turns taking a tile and placing it face up on the table, adding it to the map you arecreating. The tiles are placed edge to edge.
2) On the roads, there are pictures of children in the 4 colors. Whenever a player places a tile suchthat the road is closed on both ends (a road is closed, if it ends at both ends either at a pond, awall, a house, or a green area), the players whose colors are shown on parts of the closed road, place their figures on these parts. Each road part with a color of a player in the game gets afigure of that color. A road is also closed when if forms a complete loop. (Nothing is played onthe colors with no player using that color).
Winning the Game
• As soon as 1 player places all his figures on the map, the game ends. This player wins.
• Optional Rule: On rare occasion, it can happen that the tiles run out 1st. In this case, the gameends when the last tile is played. The winner is the player who has the fewest figures left unplayedon the map. If players tie, both share the victory.
