太棒了,他的阅读从什么时候开始的？

两年级开始的，开始读了些分级读物和绘本，断断续续的。直到来到爸妈网，大半年前开始读些章节小说了。很多书估计他都读了个大概，属于不求甚解的类型，我们也没精力和能力辅导。RR喜欢课外阅读，英语原版的他还是不感兴趣，要我们盯着或哄着。

因为出去玩了15天，回来又参加了10多天的志愿者活动，RR暑假里的读书计划停滞了。最近他总算赶完了暑假作业，在我的软磨硬泡下，今天终于又写了篇。

I think 《The Jaguar’s Jewel》 is very interesting. The story tells about Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose go to New York City to visit Dink’s uncle Warren. Warren works for a museum and he has a small zoo. His friend gives him many boxes of potteries and gold sculptures from south of America. One of them is a golden cat holding a green jewel. But the next morning, it turns not real. Someone steals the real one! The three students have Warren’s office’s key. They find a secret door in Warren’s assistant’s office. There is another secret door in Warren’s friend’s wife’s kitchen. Then Dink finds a secret camera behind the bookshelf, so they remember everything. At last, Warren’s friend’s wife helps them get out of the office; policeman catches Dr. Pitts, the thief. Ruth Rose finds the jewel in the fish tank. I think Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose are very clever.

Last week I red 《The Lucky's Lottery》. In this time, Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose helped a boy called Lucky to find his lucky lottery. Its worth seven milion. His grandfather send lottery to Lucky for Christmas gift every year. And this year, Lucky is the winner. But someone stole the lottery. They find a tinfoil in Lucky's backyard, and then they find Lucky's grandfather Hector in a atrium. Next, they find the people who sell the lottery to Hector. The people is Dot. She give Josh a draw. When they drink the soup for lunch in Dink's house, Ruth Rose find another tinfoil on her head. They find other tinfoils in Dot's shop. They catch Dot at Blue Hill and take her to the police. Lucky get his lucky lottery too. I think the book is very good. I like it.

Yesterday I red 《The kidnapped King》. It tells about Sammi the prince of Costra came to Green Lawn and the Dinks look after him for a week. Sammi's parents had been kidnapped a week ago, and now he is gone too. Josh, Dink and Ruth Rose find a yellow sliver from Dink's house's front porch. The yellow wliver is came out of Sammi's kaleidoscopo. They find another shoes, too. The word "yellow" in French sounds like "Joan", it is Sammi's tutor's name. At last, they find Sammi in a cart in the hotel Joan stayed. Joan and her husband kidnapped Sammi and his parents. They all get well. I like the story very much.

I read 《The Ninth Nugget》 yesterday. The story tells about Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose flew to Bozeman Montana. They stay at the Western Wheat dude ranch for a week’s vacation . They met Jud, his parents and Lulu first. Then they met Thumbs, who misses a thumb. They lived in cabins and in the night, they met other guests. The next day, nine people went to find gold nuggets in the river. Josh found the biggest. Then they went to ride houses. But when they came back, Josh’s nuggets in the safe was gone and the three people in the house were all tired up. The kids all thought Thumb is thief, but they couldn’t find anything wrong in his cabin. At last, they saw Ed. the trick man quickly moved out of the cabin and he stole Josh’s nuggets. Josh used his lasso caught Ed.  Josh left the nuggets to save the ranch. I think the story is interesting.
