Dont mention it！这句话常用吗？
有个问题题来这里咨询一下各位：早上群里的一个朋友说：
上英语课的时侯，老师说：welcome to you!还有什么别的说法，我儿子脱口：Dont mention it！老师想了想，说不常用！
请问，老师这么说对吗？
可是这句话是功夫熊猫里面的口语啊？是功夫熊猫里面的仙鹤说得。
不常用吗？

Dont mention it是没关系，别在意的意思啊，这种回答一般是在很熟的人之间不太客气的说法，YOu are welcome更常用，也更客套，welcome to you 也有这意思吗，没听说过，听听别人意见

老师应该说的是 you are welcome 吧，意思是不客气，这个时候是可以用 don't mention it。
don't mention it 有两个意思：
1，别客气
2，没关系
John: 'Thank you very much for helping me.'
Sue: 'Don't mention it.'
总之，直译就是“不值一提”引申为小意思。这个是IDIOM，类似于我们成语，美国口语里面常常用，我看美剧里常常出现这个词，是比较地道的口语用法。
另外 you are welcomed( tomy home ) 的意思是欢迎您（到我家）的意思，这时候可以回答thank you. 但是这句话是不正规的用法，一般欢迎某人到某地，就直接说 welcome to my home 就行了，前面的用法反而不常用。但是welcome to you， 也是不正确的，或者说不完整的。
以下是一个朋友这么说的：
Dont mention it！ 这个非常常用，但是一般不是在这个时候表达
一般是别人感激你的时候，你说，不用谢，或没什么，说Dont mention it！
welcome to you! 一般比较自然的回答是，THANK YOU

经查字典, welcome一共有4种用法:
1. welcome 用作动词
过去式或者过去分词welcomed
进行时welcoming
WELCOME<及物动词>定义:
1) to greet hospitably and with courtesy or cordiality
2) to accept with pleasure the occurrence or presence of <welcomes danger>
— welcomer
WELCOME举例:
She welcomed the students into her home.
We welcome you to the show.
He's a bright student who welcomes a challenge.
2. welcome用作感叹词
WELCOME定义:
—used to express a greeting to a guest or newcomer upon arrival
Examples of WELCOME:
Welcome to America!
Welcome home!
Welcome back.
welcome to the club.
3. Welcome用作形容词
1) received gladly into one's presence or companionship <was always welcome in their home>
2) giving pleasure : received with gladness or delight especially in response to a need <a welcome relief>
3) willingly permitted or admitted <he was welcome to come and go — W. M. Thackeray>
4) used in the phrase “You're welcome” as a reply to an expression of thanks
welcome举例:
That will be a welcome change.
He was a welcome sight.
4. welcome 用作名词
WELCOME定义:
1) a greeting or reception usually upon arrival <a warm welcome>
2) the state of being welcome <overstayed their welcome>
WELCOME举例:
He was given a hero's welcome when he returned home after winning the race.
再回过头来看, 我觉得那老师说的welcome to you也并无不妥, 这时候, welcome是名词, 意思是The student was given a welcome (by the teacher). 在结构上, 有点儿类似于Happy New Year to you! Happy Birthday to you!
除了那个老师的表达, 当然更常见的表达是Welcome to our class. welcome to our school等类似的表达.
We welcome you to our shcool也是可以的.
但是我唯独不太赞同"You are welcome"用在欢迎(新)同学到来这个场景. 假设你是个老师, 学生来到学校后你表示欢迎, 你会这么说吗?
在回到如何回答welcome to you上来, 个人觉得最好是表示感谢Thank you! 虽然Don't mention it是个常用的短语, 但用在这儿还是有点儿别扭, 尽管也有"别客气"的意思, 但更多的还是用于回应别人的感谢.
个人观点, 欢迎拍砖.
我记得dont mention it一般用在道歉的时候 “Dont mention it！” 当然可以用来表达“不用谢！”。或是 “小小意思、微薄之力，不屑一提”。它的确不如"You are welcome！"或 “No problem ！”常用。
