With what they bring of joy and bliss —
You’d pay much more for just a kiss .
3．Who buys a baby has to pay
A portion of the bill each day ;
He has to give his time and thought
Unto the little one he’s bought .
He has to stand a lot of pain
Inside his heart and not complain ;
And pay with lonely days and sad
For all the happy hours he’s had .
All this a baby costs , and yet
His smile is worth it all , you bet .

shed tears 不是流一滴两滴泪，而是有痛哭或泪水长流的意思。

真是一首优美而感动人心的好诗。
他写出了父母养育孩子各种感受。
我常常在想， 养育一个孩子成人， 和生一个孩子， 所付出的简直无法相比。
尽管在生养孩子的过程付出种种， 但孩子给我们带来的快乐和幸福的感受， 却也是超出我们的想象。
