Set in a colourful, fertile allotment run by the green-fingered Mr Bloom (played by Ben Faulks), Mr Bloom's
Nursery combines live action and puppets to show how young children can learn from the experience of nurturing
plants and vegetables.

In each episode a team of young helpers or 'Tiddlers' come to the allotment to help Mr Bloom tend his plants and
produce.

But when they add leaves and clippings to his wondrous homemade 'Compostarium' something rather amazing happens
to his Nursery. For inside are a group of lively young vegetable puppets who the children play with, teach and
care for.

The educational value of the show

Mr Bloom's Nursery helps children to:
■Get inspired by the world around them and learn about nature.
■Get their hands dirty finding out about fun ways to nurture and care for their environment.
■Sharpen and develop their observational skills through inspiring situations throughout the show (which little
ones can't fail to notice!).

Children's gardening programme. Mr Bloom's fete has come to West Bromwich! Margaret the cabbage wants to be a pop

star but she isn't ready for her performance.

2. Homemade Hat Parade
Children's gardening programme. There's a homemade hat parade at Mr Bloom's fete in Hartlepool, but none of the

Veggies has a suitable hat.

3. The Great Mashathon
A group of scouts make a huge pile of mashed potatoes at Mr Bloom' fete in Kilmarnock.

4. The Sandwich Stealer
Mr Bloom's fete has come to Redruth and Raymond's sandwiches keep going missing.

5. Bed Time Trouble
The Wee MacGregors are having trouble getting off to sleep.

6. Jungle High Jinks
Mr Bloom's fete has come to the West Midlands! Margaret and Joan play explorers.

7. Housewarming Party
Margaret is excited because her pineapple pen-pal, Deborah, is coming to visit.

8. Maypole Mayhem
Raymond and Mr Bloom discover the tallest tree in the UK and learn about roots.

9. Floating Funfair Fun
Colin has made friends with a toy rubber duck called Nigel.

10. The Caterpillar Trials
Joan's worm Victor is being disobedient and won't get a medal at the Caterpillar Trials.

11. Pirate Veggies
Margaret wants to paint a picture but she needs inspiration.

12. Joan's Throne
Mr Bloom's fete has come to Scotland! The Veggies have run out of honey for their toast.

13. Barmy Balloon Safari
Raymond wants to go on a safari but is scared of the animals he finds.

14. Family Photo Tree
Mr Bloom's fete has come to the West Midlands! Sebastian wants to take a group photo.

15. Peas Freeze
It's a hot day at Mr Bloom's fete in King's Lynn and Raymond needs an ice cream.

16. Sebastian's Pet
Mr Bloom's fete has come to Scotland and Sebastian wants a pet.

17. Amazing Maize Maze
Mr Bloom's fete has come to the North East of England.

18. Beanland
Mr Bloom's fete has come to West Bromwich and Colin plans a runner bean theme park.

19. Margaret's Space Tent
Margaret has got a brand new telescope but doesn't like the dark.

20. Forget-Me-Not
In Hartlepool it's the last of Mr Bloom's travelling fetes and the Veggies are sad.
