世界地球日（World Earth Day）即每年的4月22日，是一项世界性的环境保护活动。该活动最初在1970年的美国由盖洛德·尼尔森和丹尼斯·海斯发起，随后影响越来越大。2009年第63届联合国大会决议将每年的4月22日定为“世界地球日”。活动旨在唤起人类爱护地球、保护家园的意识，促进资源开发与环境保护的协调发展，进而改善地球的整体环境。中国从20世纪90年代起，每年都会在4月22日举办世界地球日活动。











Zoboomafoo是PBS Kids 一部特别为学龄前儿童设计的，关于生命，关于野生动物的儿童节目。
著名野生动物节目电视主持人库瓦特（Chris and Martin Kratt） 兄弟由于热爱动物，创办了自己的家庭娱乐节目，介绍野生动
物。他们创办的节目如「Zoboomafoo」 和「Creature Adventurers」 在美国几乎家喻户晓， 深受观众喜爱。他们通过活泼的表演将保护动物和环境的精神深植人们心中。
