感觉就是强调速度快，相当very very very吧，解释为incredibly应该也行。

But everything is passing too damn fast，damn是美国人口语相当于TMD这样的粗口，形容实在太快了。但小象还是孩子，不能用粗话，所以用darn来替代。
美剧中这种用法很常见，比如damn it=darn it来替代，一般有教养的白人都这么说。PZTVV前两天还有这个题。可参考ibelieve的帖子。
