Compete
verb
to try to beat each others in a race or contest

eg: My cousin is training to compete in a bicycle race this summer.

1.Which of the following are activities in which a person might compete?

*acting in a play
*a spelling bee
*a tennis match
*a game of checkers
*going to an amusement park

2.Tell about a time when you competed in an activity with a group, a friend, or a relative. Do you like to compete? Why or why not.

玩法：意思與例子都給了哦。麻煩孩子們答問題1及2。2要用complete sentences回答，不然貓姨姨不給加分 。10分一題，大家請便。
（我知道這裏好多人追求單詞量及語法，試問，背了2W個單詞，真正會用的有多少個？不知道應該發哪個版，只好來這裏湊熱鬧了。）

最近不怎么喜欢看专家们空谈理论，我就去阅读写作版逛了，你可以把这个也发到那里呀，虽然没这里热闹，不过也可能更有利于静下心来学习。等孩子放学回来，让他也写写，给猫妈捧场。
