查了几个词典（网络词典）都是翻译成演戏船，看绘本的图片就是游轮那样子的，和什么演戏不搭边，最近查好多词都不靠谱。请高手答疑。还有炫耀的意思 应该是有展示、炫耀的意思。 除了炫耀，就是演戏船的意思，游轮也可以是演戏船吧。具体可参看以下解释。

showboat
A floating theatre which travelled down the rivers of the USA, bringing entertainment to areas newly colonized. The first true showboat was launched about 1831. It travelled annually down the Ohio and Mississippi from Pittsburgh to New Orleans, giving mainly one-night stands. Showboats became extremely popular and spread to other rivers, mostly staging melodrama and comedy; usually they were pushed by tugs and had three decks. They disappeared during the Civil War but later returned, being destroyed eventually by the Depression, the cinema, and the opening of more polished city theatres.

Showboat
A showboat was a form of theater that travelled along the waterways of the United States, especially along the Mississippi and Ohio rivers.
British-born actor William Champan created the first showboat, named the "Floating Theatre", in Pittsburgh in 1831. He and his family performed plays with added music and dance at stops along the waterways. After reaching New Orleans, they got rid of the boat and went back to Pittsburgh in a steam boat in order to perform the process once again the year after.
