PBS的节目「恐龙列车」（Dinosaur Train）主要目的则是为儿童奠定良好的推理基础。每集节目都以“今天我们将造访三角龙并找出牠们所吃的食物”之类的介绍做为开场白，帮助孩子将注意力放在正确的地方。然后剧中角色开始推理，例如检查恐龙的嘴巴与牙齿，来推断不同恐龙的食物。这为儿童提供了一个模板，让他们可以据此进行严谨的思考。
