The Furchester Hotel is a Sesame Street co-production for CBeebies. The series will promote problem-solving as the monsters try to figure out issues developed by their unique guests. Fifty-two, 11-minute episodes were produced beginning in February 2014 MediaCityUK in Salford.
CBeebies welcomes The Furchester family with furry arms as the doors open for business at The Furchester Hotel.
The Furchester Hotel is a series for 3-6 year olds set in an ‘almost’ world-class hotel run by a close-knit family of cheerfully chaotic monsters. The series introduces brand new characters and also welcomes the beloved Elmo and Cookie Monster from Sesame Street.
As guests arrive at the hotel they are greeted by monster owner Funella
Furchester, her loving husband, Furgus Fuzz, and their daughter, the unflappable Phoebe Furchester-Fuzz. Elmo, Phoebe’s cousin who is on an extended visit and Cookie Monster, who has landed his dream job as room service and dining room waiter, join the Furchester family at the hotel.
Completing the ensemble is Isabel, a furry bell monster - guests won’t get any attention until she dings to announce their arrival!
The Furchester Hotel

The Furchesters make a video about the hotel, but things are going wrong in
every room.
2. Don't Eat the Guests
How will the Furchesters stop Cookie Monster from eating cookie guest Mr
Crumb?
3. Very Important Porcupine
Can furry thinking help Phoebe and Elmo play games with a lonely porcupine
called Pierce?
4. Yodel-ay-hee-hoo!
Professor Fleece teaches the Furchesters to yodel when their phone stops
working.
5. Count Your Chickens
Phoebe and Elmo need all their creative skills when looking after five
excitable chickens!
6. The Veggietones
Funella hires a group of singing vegetables to make the guests happy, but
they cause chaos
7. Toast with a Smile
Elmo has to dodge horses, monsters and more to deliver a tray of toast to a
hungry guest.
8. Isabel Gets the Ding-ups
The Furchester family try to stop Isabel's bell-monster hiccups so she can
welcome guests.
9. Mystery Weekend
Two detectives and a mysterious racoon check in for the hotel's Mystery
Weekend.
10. Animal Talk
Phoebe, the only Furchester who can talk to animal guests, loses her voice.
11. The Furchester Hoot-el
Elmo and Phoebe are determined not to fall asleep so they can meet Mr
Screetch the owl.
12. Furchester TV
Phoebe and Elmo create Furchester TV so that two ducks don't miss their
favourite shows.
13. Penguin Bobsleigh Team
Phoebe and Elmo help two penguins learn how to bobsleigh but their
bobsleigh gets broken!
14. The Sculpture
It's hard to keep the beautiful sculpture of Funella safe from the
residents at the hotel.
15. The Caterpillar Catastrophe
The Furchesters have to think like a caterpillar while searching for a
missing guest.
16. Furchester on Wheels
Funella overhears guests say the service is slow. She's determined to make
it fast.
