FSciGirls is a new show for kids ages 8-12 that is designed to spark a girl's curiosity in STEM (science, technology,
engineering and math). The show is all about hands-on science inquiry.Participants learn the scientific process,
work collaboratively to investigate meaningful questions and see how STEM helps people solve problems, achieve goals,
and help others.

SciGirls is a collaborative program that empowers PBS outreach professionals, science museums, and afterschool
providers—often partnering with local youth organizations, educators and parents—to deliver hands-on science
encouragement and career guidance to girls in their communities. The program is based on existing standards-based
DragonflyTV outreach resources, which teach the process of full inquiry. SciGirls empowers girls to ask questions,
communicate, and encourage one another. This project supports collaborative, tactile learning, setting girls on the
"science fast track" toward improved critical thinking skills, enhanced problem solving abilities, and ultimately,
career success.

Turtle Mania
Episode 101Izzie straps on her waders and joins Annie and her friends to make a local wetland more attractive to turtles.

Puppet Power Episode 102Izzie joins Anna and her friends to engineer a giant pig puppet for a May Day parade, complete with blinking eyes and a twirling tail.

Dolphin Dive Episode 103Izzie, Serena and Ceci bond with bottlenose dolphins, exploring their behavior at the Dolphins Plus Research Center.

Digging Archaeology Episode 104Izzie unearths the past with Jazzy and Gates, uncovering thousand-year-old Native American artifacts at a Utah dig site.

Horsing Around Episode 105Izzie joins Zoe and her friends as they “pony up” some science to select the best horse for a riding competition.

Blowin' in the Wind Episode 106Izzie's off the grid with Hannah and her friends, who design and build their own working miniature wind farm.

Going Green Episode 111Izzie joins forces with Mackenzie and friends, putting a lid on school trash by inventing a new use for recycled yogurt cups.

Star Power Episode 112Izzie reaches for the stars with Avianna and Miranda, as they help cut down on light pollution in their neighborhood.
