Colorful Art, Wonderful Life

今天参加女儿学校的艺术节闭幕式，女儿的闭幕发言是英文，另个同学是中文。在一千多人的场面，表面是没有怯场，回到家后，说，还是有一点点紧张。这是很好的锻炼，获得这个机会也不容易，是全校竞选获得，一个英国学生，两个中国学生，女儿是其中之一。
这是一种很好的锻炼，并不是为提高英语，而是锻炼了胆量，提升自信心、临场应变能力等。因为稿子是在开场前20分钟左右定下的，没有信心和应变能力是会很紧张。如其他小孩有类似的机会，希望家长也尽量鼓励自己的孩子参与。

Dear teachers and school fellows,TodayMy topic is “Colorful Art,Wonderful Life”.All kinds of activities bring us chances to presentourselves, and the Art Festival is the best stage for us to show ourcharacteristics and creativity.Art is not only the creation of beauty, but also therelease of our spirit!　In this Art Festival, weparticipated in the choral, the appreciation of music, the talent show, thepiano show and a series of art activities in the classroom.　　Everyone is excited to show theirtalent, express their thinking, present confidently, and cooperate with othersin a friendly way.　　Many students expressed theirfeelings of this Art Festival.　　He jiahui, who performed in thepiano show, said she was nervous at the beginning, but then became moreconfident.　　Fang shanyu said that although shedidn’t perform on the stage, she presented her paintingto others, and she believes she can become an artist.　　Zhou chen created and performed ashort play which is very welcome in the Art Festival. He surprised himself byrealizing that he can be a good performer.　　In this Art Festival, many studentsand classes did an excellent job. All the choral teams performed very well inthe choral competition. We also noticed many talented hosts and hostesses inthis Art Festival. They are Liu Miner from 212, Huang Tianyang from 214, ZhangTianshuo from 208, Ma Haoyu from 505 , Ouyang Dinnuo from 507 and Weiyutongfrom 507 . There were many excellent student commitment members in this ArtFestival too. They are Vanessa, Tracy, Yoyo, Ivy, Shelly, Lora and Ann. Laterwe will award these choral teams, students and classes.　　Art is an experience of creationand enjoyment of life. This Art Festival is over, but the journey of exploringthe art is not over. Let us feel the colorful art,andenjoy a wonderful life!　　That’s all. Thank you! Now, I announce,the 10thArt Festival isover!
