Flying to England (First Day in England)（飞向英国【在英国的第一天】）
本帖最后由 171460283 于 2015-8-20 09:06 编辑秋季我就要上5年级了，这个暑假里，我有幸到英国去游学。我到过剑桥、牛津和伦敦。我把我每天的生活用英文记录下来了，共有十多篇。对于我写的这些文字，我想在这儿得到老师和同学们的批评和帮助。因为我是在一个很普通的学校上学，而且我们家里没有一个人会英语。在这里我要感谢学友留学集团对我赴英旅费的赞助！
July 27th, we were under Mr. Xu and we had to have three plane rides to get to London Hearthrow, it's my first time on a plane. First, it was Xi'an to Shanghai, it was still day. As the plane took off, I felt happy as we rush towards the sky.
When the plane is in the air, I looked down, the ground is white, the sky is blue. After a long long while, we noticed that the plane is going down, we are now in the middle of the clouds, some clouds are right in front of the window, we can see the side of the clouds. Soon, the sky turned from blue to lavender, and we cannot see the clouds anymore.
After a while staying at the airport, here we go on the plane again! Looking at the lights outside the window, I imagined stars out filling the sky, I can see the moon alright. It was in half, shining prettily in the sky.
The next thing I know, it was light outside! I can already see the blue sky and knew that night had gone away.
When the plane was about to land, I looked at the window again. I can see Abu Dhabi far, far below. The roads looked like spider webs. The tall buildings looked like small, grey pieces of tofu. Those cars looked like small ants crawling on the spider web.
I was wide awake on the plane towards London, I watched movies, I listened to music, I sleep, I eat. Everything I did was almost just about as pleasing.
We were in England at last! Now we are on the bus that will take us to Cambridge University.
At first, we are curious about every single thing. We oohed and ahhed at every single house that looked pretty. And I purred like a cat when I saw that golden field of wheat. We all groaned when we saw that it is raining very hard but soon the rain stopped and it became sunny again.
We arrived at Cambridge University at last! I looked happily around Fritzwilliam College. I knew that I would like this place at once. All the places have got flowers and green grass. Wherever you look, you can see a field of grass, some which you can walk on it. I touched the fluffy little grass, they are still wet from the rain.
The dormitory was small and simple. There is only a bed, a place where you can wash your hands. There are also a desk and a chair, a big closet, and a sofa. I sat right onto the bed and I got bounced up at once. I looked out the window, I looked at the flowers and grass below, I can even see one of my friends on the path before my window, I smiled, it was a perfect dormitory.
After having some supper, I started to explore the place.
I walked on little paths leading through places full of trees and grass. It has the feel that you are in a forest. I can hear birds chirping on the trees, it makes you feel that the place is full of secrets. There's a tiny statue, no higher than myself, stands at the edge of the forest. I also saw Darwin's old house. The place was used for entertainment. But it's locked now for vacation, so I can only stare at the outside table and chair.
I also found a little park in the college, there's gravel all over the ground, I walked on a tiny path which I thought it might lead to a different place, but it was blocked by plants so I can only turn back. Soon, the sun sets I went back to the dormitory, I turned off the light, lied on that soft bed and went to sleep.
