Having Afternoon Tea in Oxford(喝下午茶【在英国的第十天】)

In the morning, we had class about famous writers. There are a few writers which I remember. They are Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare, Jane Austin, and J. K. Rowling.
Charles Dickens was famous for his book < Christmas Carol > and < The Story of Two Towns >, while our teacher told us that William Shakespeare has many works, but they are no books or novels, they are plays. There are historic plays, and sad and happy plays. Jane Austin's books were mostly about love and romantic stories, like < Pride and Prejudice >, but she never got married. Last of all, J. K. Rowling is famous for her books < Harry Potter >.
Finally, it's afternoon.
I bought a wand which belongs to Hermione, it was the last one in the shop. Toby and I started to play magic using each other's wands.
Next, we went to have some afternoon tea in a tea house that is pretty noisy. The tea tastes great, but we are already too hungry to pay much attention to just tea. Everybody reached towards the bread and jam and cream. They took it down, pull it into two pieces, put the jam on one side, and the cream on the other side. Others paid their attention to the sandwiches under the bread. Soon, there's no food left on the platter.
Then we slowly walked back to the college with a full stomach, and listened to the teachers telling about how they got to Oxford. One teacher has the most interesting one. In the end about how he got to Oxford, he told us about a BBC documentary that had just happened recently.
The name of the documentary is Chinese teachers versus English children. The teacher told us, "First, in the morning. They let the English children do exercise, the English children didn't say anything because this was new to them. "
"During class, one of the students kept moving here and there, so the teacher asked him to stand up for the whole class. The student did not complain because English teachers had never done this before. "
"But on P. E. class. The teacher asked everybody to run, but a fat student was unhappy about it because he can't run very well. And he burst into tears. "
When the long speech formed by different teachers was finally over, we went back to our dormitory, feeling terribly sleepy.
