一探究竟！适合小小朋友们的usborne初级读物（已入目錄）

First Reading Level 1
First Reading Level 2
First Reading Level 3
First Reading Level 4
Young Reading Series 1
Young Reading Series 2
Young Reading Series 3
大家比较熟悉的是young reading这个系列的，论坛上很多妈妈揭秘的厚本都应该是属于这个系列，这个系列文字量是比较大的了不太适合小小朋友们，而且因为很多热心妈妈的揭秘大家对这个系列也有了解，所以本帖要一探究竟的是first reading系列，同时usborne还有一个very first reading系列，本帖也会揭秘哦。
first reading共有4个level，每个level都有数十本读物组成，那么每个level都是属于一个什么水平呢？本本之间的跨度又是如何呢?同时我前段时间购入了数本Story collections for little children，既然标明是for little children，那么肯定也是适合小朋友的初级读物，其实Story collections for little children中得故事都来源于first reading系列，那么他和first reading系列又有啥异同呢？接下来，就让我从横向纵向来一探究竟吧~
先上一张usborne官网对first reading 4个level的介绍，下面一张是我购入的几本Story collections

惭愧的是我并没有购入first reading系列的任何一本，所以没有实物给大家看啦，不过还好有官网贴心的内页图片，嘿嘿。
首先是First Reading Level 1中的The Ant and the Grasshopper和来自于Bedtime stories for little children的The Ant and the Grasshopper，差异是显而易见的，我就不废话了。

最后是First Reading Level 4中的Goldilocks和来自于Fairy tales for little children的Goldilocks
总结：可见First Reading的确是比较初级的读物，即使是level 4的文字量也不算多，每个level之间的跨度跳跃也是比较适当的，而stories for little children的文字量比level 4还稍许多一点，难度在first reading之上，不过我个人感觉，stories for little children可能更注重的是亲子共读上，理由有二：一是虽然他的文字量不算少，但是收录的每个故事都有所删减或者改编，使得故事更加简练，更为适合专注度还不那么够的小宝宝们；二是每本书的大开本设计当然是最适合用来亲子共读的咯，first reading系列的开本就小的多，提倡的是宝宝们自主阅读。所以，这两个系列的侧重点不同。以上就是我对First Reading和stories for little children的一些看法，业余人士，也说不出啥道道，反正有照片就有真相，大家都明了滴。

再让我来揭开very first reading系列的面纱吧
先贴一段官网介绍：
Usborne Very First Reading is an inspired series of books for children who are just starting
to learn to read. It offers:
the appeal of imaginative rhyming stories and irresistible illustrations
the support of a well-researched framework
the enjoyment of shared reading with an adult
very first reading系列包含15本书，1-7本为一个level，8-15本为另一个level
然后是我购入的全套15本（目前的全套，陆续还有新的出版）
下面会挑第一本和第十五本揭秘

先贴一段官网对1-7level的解释：
In the first part of the series, adult and child take turns to read, with the child's share
becoming bigger and more challenging in each book. These books cover material that is
normally taught during a child's first year at school.
前7本的重点是成人和儿童的合作阅读，看图说话，这是系列的第一本
看到图片你可能会奇怪，这是very first reading吗，这文字量比first reading level 1还多啊，其实是有编者的小用心在里面，左页面的文字是由成人来读的，而右页面的粗体大字才是交给小朋友们来读的哦，1-7本都是采用的这种形式，交给小朋友们读的文字是比较活泼可爱的口语化文字。同时别看这小小一本书，内里乾坤大哦，不仅有家长导读，每个故事结束后还有三个puzzle等着你哦

官网对8-15的解释：
Growing in confidence, books 8 – 15 From Book 8, the child reads the whole story with the adult providing help and support if
needed. These books explore material that is often taught during a child's second or even third year at school.
后8本就不再采用前7本的形式了，文字量确实是很少的，的确是very first reading，呵呵
