The Original Orangutan

Chapter 1 : What Happened???
“SCCCRRREEEECCCHHHH!” I suddenly woke up, surprised and wondering who made such a racket. Then I realized it was my friend Millie the Monkey who made the racket.
My name is Olivia, Olivia the Orangutan. I live in an enormous enclosure with my friends Millie the Monkey, Sally the Spider Monkey and Gigi, the Gold Tamarin Monkey (who is apparently ‘endangered’ like me, whatever that means.)
I then started my daily routine, eating, playing, climbing and sleeping.
First, I went to The Brekkie Table to get some good grub
there’s nothing better than some good beetles and fruit in the morning! But, to my surprise, there were no left! I was so conbaffled (confused and baffled) that they didn’t save any for me !
I was actually on a diet, so I just nibbled on some larvae shells and some watermelon skin. Yum! After that breakfast fiasco, I went to play with my absolute best friend, Gigi. I found her swinging on some jungle tree vines, (scented to smell just like home).
I asked, “Hey Gigi, do you know where the other monkeys are?”
Gigi said,” I think they’re over there somewhere playing on the banana treat house, probably nicking some bananas.”
“Thanks Gigi!” I say, as I start to head off to the banana treat house. Sure enough , there they were! But they weren’t swinging on vines, or hanging on trees, nor stealing bananas! Strange behavior if you ask me.
I climbed up to the top of the Treat House, and I saw a strange sight, they were sitting around on a grey platform, some were whining , some were crying.
Poor them! I thought. I hopped over to them hoping to see what was happening.
