绘本俱乐部 十二月活动 圣诞节要来了，新年还远吗？

我先来开第一帖
先介绍一个作者 Jan Brett
因为找关于圣诞的绘本认识了Jan Brett，她是来自美国的绘本作家， 她的画风华丽，尤其是那些隐藏情节的华丽画框更如同她的签名一样，一看就知道是她的作品。 她的作品主要涉及各种各样的野生动物，和从斯堪迪纳半岛到非洲的各种各样文化，虽然她没得过凯奖，但是她在这个领域也是得奖无数，很多作品被选入各种各样的TOP50，TOP 100。。。
因为华丽的画风很适合圣诞气氛，和冬天有关的题材，加上简单又有趣的情节，适合小宝宝，所以我以她的作品来开篇了。（贴图稍后上）

Rod Campell 的 Dear Santa
Rod Campell 有一个很有名的绘本叫 《Dear Zoo》 我之前有过介绍，而这本书《Dear Santa》和《Dear Zoo》很像，也小朋友的口气和圣诞老人的通信，这里小朋友向圣诞老人要自己心中PERFECT的礼物的事情。
圣诞节快到了，小朋友们最快乐的事是什么呢？就是圣诞节的早上可以收到许多礼物，你们家的孩子最希望收到圣诞老人的什么礼物呢？ 不如，我们来写封信给圣诞老人吧，就从Dear Santa开始。。。
圣诞老人怎么用英文称呼呢？Santa Claus,Santa Nicholas, Father Christmas,Kris Kringle,这些都可以，圣诞老人就是传说中会在圣诞前夜驾着9匹（8匹）鹿Reindeer拉着雪橇来给本年度好孩子送圣诞礼物的那个人。
Write a letter to Santa Claus 也成为圣诞节的一项孩子最常做的事，通常孩子们会写信给圣诞老人列举在一年里自己的良好表现有哪些，然后再来一个wish list，自己想要的礼物有哪些。 这项活动也成为学校教育的一部分，通过写信给圣诞老人，孩子们知道关于信件的一些常识，比如：地址，抬头，邮编，写信的格式等，通常写给圣诞老人的信在很多邮局都会收寄，有的地方还专门有人回信，世界上许多地方的邮局都会收到各个国家寄来有写给圣诞老人的邮件呢。

It's was the night before christmas
有多少版本的这个绘本呢？ 难以计数，我家里就有好多个版本的，这都来自Clement Clarke Moore (1779 - 1863) 他写了一首诗，名字叫 Twas the night before Christmas，也叫 “A Visit from St. Nicholas" in 1822. 现在在许多美国家庭都有在圣诞节前夜朗读这首诗的习惯，这首诗里描述了我们心中的圣诞节，和圣诞老人。在这首诗前，St.Nicholas 从来没有和雪橇和驯鹿联系在一起。
'Twas the Night Before Christmas
(or A Visit from St. Nicholas) by Clement Clarke Moore (1823)
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.
And Mama in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.
When out on the roof there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
tore open the shutter, and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
gave the lustre of midday to objects below,
when, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles, his courses they came,
and he whistled and shouted and called them by name:
"Now Dasher! Now Dancer!
Now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid!
On, Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch!
To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away!
Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
when they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky
so up to the house-top the courses they flew,
with the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
the prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head and was turning around,
down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
and he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.
His eyes--how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
and the beard on his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
and the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
that shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
and I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
and filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

Dream Snow by Eric Carle
这是一本华丽的书，有透视页，但是内容却很简单比起Eric Carle的其它书来觉得好像就是为圣诞节准备的，送给小孩子们的礼物，有华丽的外表就行了，不需要有多深的含义。
然而北半球的圣诞节一般都是在冬天过的，所以和雪有关:

毕竟，圣诞老人就住在北极，那是终年积雪的地方。。。

圣诞老人的王国
圣诞老人住在哪里？不给孩子们派送礼物的时候，他们在做什么？ 那么多孩子等着要礼物，圣诞老人怎么来得及准备这些礼物，又能够及时送给好孩子呢？
很多孩子会问这样哦问题吧？
不要以为圣诞节是西方人的节日，只有西方人才会写关于圣诞节的绘本，介绍一本日本人写的圣诞节绘本吧。
非常好看，故事也很难有趣， 推荐推荐。

写的是一个小女孩给圣诞老人写的信，她先是告诉圣诞老人自己过去一年的表现还不错，然后再说不要收到哪些东西，再来就是她的Wish List， 想要收到什么样的礼物。。。条理非常清楚，又不失孩子的天真活泼
可以做为Dear Santa的延伸，也可以让孩子照着写一封信，在绘本的后面有一封信的格式，孩子们读完以后就可以照着这本书的格式来给圣诞老人写信了，还有贴纸，可以装饰一下自己的信。

书还没拿到，找一段网上的评论：
