澳洲小草怪 Grug 英文
之前29折入了中文的澳洲小草怪，想自制双语的。dion_tang已经整理好了对应的目录：http://www.ebama.net/thread-61906-1-1.html抽空敲了几本上来，后面有空会继续更新哈，就按照dion_tang的目录从上到下敲的
Grug
Once the top of a Burrawang tree
fell to the ground...
...and the grassy top began to change.
It became Grug.
Away he went to look for a place to live.
He went through the forest,
through the snow,
until he reached a green mountain.
There Grug found a deserted burrow.
...to make a fireplace.
Then he made a bed of grass.
Grug's house was almost finished.
What else did he need?
A letterbox!
Grug at the beach
It was a hot summer day.
Grug was waiting for a parcel
from the city.
At last it arrived.
In the parcel was everything Grug
needed for...
...a day at the beach.
Grug hurried to the beach.
He blew up his beach ball...
...and chased it along the sand.
He sunbathed for awhile.
Then he dug in the sand...
...and built a sandcastle.
Grug ran into the surf...
...and rode a big wave.
It was soon time to go home.
Grug's nose was very red.
He had forgotten the sunscreen!
Grug builds a boat
One day Grug decided to build
a boat out of reeds.
He made a mast for the boat...
...and a sail from an old sheet.
Then he made a rudder.
He smeared mud on the inside.
Grug launched his boat...
and sailed gently down the creek.
But the boat moved faster and faster.
Grug heard a roaring noise...
...a waterfall!
SPLASH!
At first Grug floated upside down.
Then he floated the right way up...
...until he washed up on a beach.
...Grug used his boat as a sunhat.
Grug and his garden
In his garden Grug grew...
...grass for his bed,
flowers to smell and vegetables to eat.
One morning Grug found his cabbages
chewed to tatters.
Who could have done this?
In the darkness of the night
Grug crept out.
He follewed the shiny silver trail
through shivery grass,
over shadowy rocks,
as far as a tree.Aha!
Grug scurried home.
What could he do to save his cabbages?
The next day he planted cabbages
until he had enough for himself...
...and the snail.
Grug goes to school
There was a small school
near Grug's home.
Early one morning Grug went
to take a closer look.
He peered through an open doorway.
No one was inside.
He tip-toed down the hall-
past some schoolbags.
The big chair at the front of the classroom
was too high for Grug.
But one of the little chairs was
just the right size.
He counted five pencils in a pencil case.
On the big desk he found a stamp.
It made a picture on Grug's hand.
Grug wrote on the blackboard.
Then he found some books to read.
One of them was very exciting!
Suddenly a bell rang and Grug knew
it was time for him to go.
He hurried away towards home...
...to finish his homework.
Grug has a birthday
No one knew how old Grug was-
not even Grug himself.
Cara told him all about birthdays.
Grug decided to have a birthday party.
He mixed some flour and water
into a round soft ball.
Then he put it over the fire to cook.
Grug made some party hats...
...and a birthday card.
He blew up balloons.
He played musical chairs...
...and blind man's buff.
He lit the candle on his cake,
then blew it out and made a wish.

Grug had forgotten to invite his friends.
Grug decided to have another
birthday tomorrow.Birthdays are fun!

to make a rattle. Jingle, jangle!He poured water into the tin cans.Then he hung the cans and the rattlefrom a stick.Clink, clunk, jingle
Then he tied a string around his leg andattached it to a drumstick.Now Grug began his concert. Boom, ping, plunk, jingle, clink, clunk.jangle, boom!
Cara performed a snake dance. grug played his music until it was dark.
