1．  和孩子一起读书。注意有语气的强调黑体的单词。up 和 down 在前两本书经常出现，孩子应该不会陌生，looking for也出现过。

2．  再和孩子读一遍书，这次可以注意观察图片，适当的给予解释和重复。

This is the jungle. 这是丛林。

What can you see in the jungle? 在丛林里你能看到什么？

I can see many trees. 我可以看到很多树。

Where is the Little Chimp? 小猩猩在哪？

Look, there’s the Little Chimp. 看，小猩猩在那。

It is up in the trees. 它在树上。

Where is the Big Chimp? 大猩猩在哪？

It is down here. 它在这下面。

3．  为下列制作单词卡片，加深记忆

tree   in the sun    asleep    wake up     

4．  和孩子一起玩折纸  猴爬山（可以改成猩猩爬树）

先给孩子展示做好的成品。

问孩子想不想做一个？Do you want to make one?

We need a piece of paper. 我们需要一张纸。

It is square. 它是方形的。

Fold your paper like this. 像这样折你的纸。

Look, it is triangle. 这是三角形。

Cut your paper with the scissors. 用剪刀剪纸。

Let’s draw the Little Chimp on this small triangle paper. 在这个小三角形的纸上画小猩猩。

Draw a big tree here. 在这画一棵大树。

5．  一边折纸一边跟妈妈唱自编童谣。

妈妈问：Little Chimp, Little Chimp, where are you?

孩子答：Big Chimp, Big Chimp, I’m going up the tree.

反复几遍

最后小猩猩出来后，引导孩子回答：Big Chimp，Big Chimp, I’m up here!
