Enjoy Singing, Enjoy Life

Hello, everyone. I’m Liu Yuanqiao, a student of D2 primary school. It is my great honor to stand here and give my speech. And my topic is “Enjoy singing, enjoy life”. Today I’m not to sing a song  here, I just would like to share my feeling of singing with you. That experience is really interesting and wonderful.

Mum told me that，ten years ago, when I was born, my first crying was the most wonderful song that she had never heard. At that moment, it was full of joy, power and happiness. Well, I believe if aunts and uncles here have been parents, you must deeply understand that feeling.

When I was growing up, Dad always said: “Hey, boy, let’s sing together.” “Boy, you play the piano, and we sing together, ok?” “Boy, sing aloud ,are you ready ?”……I did enjoy those moments.

At the age of 7, I was chosen to be a member of the Harmony Youth Chorus. Our teacher says, “Singing is one of the best treasures in our life”. In the spare time, we study and exercise together, share the happiness of success and tears of failure. And without doubt we’re growing up and moving forward. Now we’re like a big family. In this family, we love each other and enjoy the singing together.

Mencius said, “Joys shared with others are more enjoyed”. So, guys, let’s enjoy singing together. I’m Liu Yuanqiao, I am a  boy who enjoys singing and enjoys life!
