2）Sight Words包含了英语语言的基本语法框架
Dolch Sight Words非主题名词（Non-nouns）一共有220个。
1）构成动词短语的动词和介词。动词短语和上面的主题词汇一起构成了句子的主干。掌握了主题词汇、动词短语幼儿就可以说”电报句”了。这是幼儿最早的“输出”。

在英语中，基本动词本来就属于“最善变、最合群”的词类。基本动词不但可以和语法词汇一起表达出非常抽象的时态、语气、语态等含义，它还可以和介词（副词）组成数不胜数的习惯表达（动词短语）。Sight Words中的动词就更是如此。比如，一个“turn”就可以把人“转晕”：turn in, turn out, turn up, turn over, turn down, turn on, turn off，turn around, turn to, turn into等等。
如果不能吃透、用好这些日常表达，我们的英语就会带有明显的“外国腔”，让以英语为母语的人感到“大词连篇”，缺乏表达力。

2）使表达更完整，更精确的修饰词
副词：【 here, there,not, no, yes,now, soon, well, too, so, as, then, once, again, just, round, always,never,only, very, about, today, right】
形容词：【big, little, funny,good, new,pretty, old, some, any, every many, much, long, small, fast, far, light,cold,hot, warm, full, kind, better, best】

3）构成句子逻辑，精确表达的语法词汇
只要对照一下《我的第一本英语语法书》，我们会发现绝大部分英语语法词汇都包含在sight words中，如冠词、助动词，系动词，情态东词，疑问词、连接词及引导词、代词等。
a)让语言表达更简洁，更清晰的代词、冠词
