有趣的mommy和mummy

看到急性子妞妞的mummy&mommy日志，觉得好奇就查了下。

发现真是有意思的mommy和mummy。

Mum/mummy is British, mom/mommy is American.
但是有人留言说New England in America也是用mummy。

然后有个英国网站上发现了有趣的留言：

有个妈妈说：I would never use Mommy, very American. My daughter went through a phase of calling me Mammy, think she sensed her Northern roots!

有的还说：I am Mum or Mummy. Would never consider being called 'Mommy or Mom'. I always try to correct my little boy so that he speaks British English and not American English.

 还有的妈妈说：i live in the west midlands and everone i know says mommy. mummy sounds very northern to me. mommy is correct english to me!!! （哈哈，correct english，英国人啊~）
