‘You’re an idiot’ was the first sentence that popped out of his mouth. He was angry. It was his first ever bicker with his bigger sister. It wasn’t nice but it was his sister’s fault at the first place. She publicly insulted him in front of his friends. With tears welling up in his eyes, he shot back to his room only hearing his sister saying freak.
An awkward silence filled the air in the dining room. He lowered his head as low as
possible to avoid the eye contact from his sister. His mom started to blabber about how
unfair the government is treating their people. It wasn’t worth listening. Instead his attention
was drawn to how to punishing his sister. When his body was reacting to the outer world his
soul already was searching through the storage room. The room where he always kept his
creativity.
‘I could just mess her desk up. No, the punishment would be too soft. Steal her jewelries?
Not that either, it is too expensive.’ He wondered.
‘Gordon, Gordon are you listening to me. God, I swear kids these days doesn’t respect their
parents. What do you think Derek? We should...’ His mom started the educational talk
again.
He abruptly stood up and with a I’m done he walked into his room. Slamming the door, he walked to his desk took a blank piece of paper and a pencil and started designing the revenge.
It took him nearly four hours of careful design, he finally got it. It was a hard and slow process but it was worth it. He was about to stick her sister onto her chair. In the weekend, his parents was going to fly to Singapore for a meeting meaning the whole house would be under his and his sister’s control. His sister wouldn’t be at the dining table for breakfast and lunch. Which gave him two dinners to prank her. He had to be early for dinner for a few minutes hiding a clear super glue in his pocket. When the servants were not looking he will sneak up to his sister’s chair and squeeze the super glue on to the chair. Afterwards, he will excuse himself to the bathroom. In the bathroom, there would be a waterproof seal bag and tape behind and under the toilet. He would put the glue in. He after will enjoy the chaos that will happen. During the chaos he would quietly get out the room, go to the bathroom, get the evidence and throw it into the river outside the house. If anyone ask what was he doing, he will just say taking for a walk. Plan done.
The weekdays slowly passed. As it got closer to the weekend, the more excited he was. Finally ,it was Saturday. The hours ticked by slowly. He was getting more nervous. It reached to dinner time. All the events was happening in the right track. He putting the glue on, going to the bathroom, came back seeing his sister getting stuck in the chair. At last, he throwing the evidence out. The plan was perfect. He thought he won, he was too young. Next morning he found out his face was scribbled saying ‘Punch him’. Even worse, he can’t get it off. For the whole day he had people punching his arms, body, and face. The night that his parents came back, they were astonished by the view. Bruises and scratch marks was all over his body. His sister’s body had red spots and bruises all over. The two sibling was grounded for two whole weeks. It was the first and last bicker they had.
