Watched a little part of the film before and wasn't impressed then. But it's worth reading the book. Interesting and attractive. Though it seems the book ended abruptly. May be it was intended for the series.
It's romantic. Always attracting subject for females, I guess. A perfect prince charming, though the "prince" would announce himself a "monster".
A little ridicuous, when considering the match is between a more-than-eighty "old" man and a less-than-eighteen teenage girl.
I like better the first half of the book than the last part about the being hunted and being saved. Don't know exactly why. May it be due to the unravelled mystery of vampires and the subtle feelings of the teenages at the beginning and in the middle, but no more surprise at the end.
