Imagination Movers is a television series that premiered on September 6, 2008 on Disney Channel. The program was originally part of the Playhouse Disney daily block intended for preschoolers. On February 14, 2011, it was moved to the Disney Junior block, serving as Playhouse Disney's replacement.
The Imagination Movers TV series is based on the format and music of the New Orleans based music group Imagination Movers who both act and are co-executive-producers of the show。

Show History:
The Imagination Movers were born out of a dad's desire to bring kids educational entertainment featuring positive male role models. Dad Scott Durbin got together with his friends, Rich Collins, Dave Poche, and Scott "Smitty" Smith, and after a lot of hard work and deliberation, developed a pilot episode of their imaginative brain child Imaginations Movers.
Incorporating rock and roll music that would be fun for both kids and parents, the four friends from New Orleans produced a show that focused on helping kids learn to be creative problem solvers. The Imagination Movers' music has been featured on the Disney Channel, and now the Movers are finally realizing their big dream with the Imagination Movers TV show.
Show Synopsis:
Scott Durbin, Rich Collins, Dave Poche, and Scott "Smitty" Smith are part of a rockin' band called the Imagination Movers. The Movers hang out in their "idea warehouse," where they like to make music and solve "idea emergencies." If a problem needs solving, the Movers are there to do the job. All it takes is a little brain-storming, and the movers come up with some possible solutions. As any good problem solver would, the Movers then test the possibilities and derive the best solution to the problem or question.
