最近George同学刚上完加州G1的课,我和他妈妈商量,先缓缓G2的课,把G1很多东西再巩固下,比如这个口语词汇卡,在上课的课件里只用过一点点,这次准备专门拎出来上几次课,正好我们家DAVY同学需要巩固词汇,两人一起上。这次做的课件没有太多的拓展,只是按照口语词汇卡上的提示加了一点。
选用的故事,The Great Rope Tug,图片四张,新单词都用下划线,跟2的教参里教单词的模式一样,基本都是Define, Example,Ask。不过缺少单词的练习,这次重在口语,就不加了。
例如:Define: Movements are actions, or the way someone or something moves.Example: The cat’s movements frightened the bird away.
Ask: How are a rabbit’s movements different from an elephant’s movements?
刚开始做这个事情,只是用自己比较顺的方式在整理了一下原来的文本,看起来更舒适一些。 我自己新加的东西,在解释tug-of-war的时候,用了一张图片,更直观地释义,也可以让孩子描述图片,谈论自己的经历。
解释hippity hop时,用了一首儿歌:
Hippity hop to the video shop,
I want to rent a movie.
Hippity hop to the video shop,
A movie just for me.
其他的关于词汇的问题,基本在照搬原教参: 1. What do you do when you are trying to keep your balance? 2. Tell about a time when you could barely get out of bed. How did you feel? 3. How do you feel when you run out of energy? 4. What would make you feel exhausted, playing a long game of soccer or watching a movie? 5. What can you say to your friends to express how much you like them? 6. Why is it important to move gently around animals that you don’t know? 7. Why might someone groan when they stub their toe? 8. How are a rabbit’s movements different from an elephant’s movements? 9. What would rumble, a bird flapping its wings or thunder? 10. When do you like to stretch?
