Gaston goes to School
Somewhere,hidden amongst thorny brambles, is a little kingdom of elves and fairies.
Everyone who lives here is very, very small.
BEN：I’m Ben Elf! (Blows horn)(Beetle barks)
HOLLY：And I'm Princess Holly. （GASTON：Woof!）
HOLLY：Come on. Let's play!
BEN：Wait for us!
(Both giggle)
BEN AND HOLLY’s LITTLE KINGDOM
Today's adventure starts at the little castle.
Gaston Goes To School.
HOLLY: Here, boy!
BEN: Come back, Gaston!
HOLLY: Naughty Gaston!
KING THISTLE: Eugh! Holly and Ben, please keep Gaston under control.
HOLLY:Sorry, Daddy.(Bell rings) Hello, Strawberry.
STRAWBERRY: Hello, Holly! I've come to show you my new pet.(Barks)
HOLLY: Oooh, come in!
STRAWBERRY: Hello, everyone. This is Fufu, my rainbow beetle.
KING THISTLE: I say!
QUEEN: She's very pretty.
STRAWBERRY:(Barks)Watch this! Fufu, sit. (All exclaim) Roll over.(All exclaim) Shake hands. (Applause)
BEN: Wow!
HOLLY: That's amazing!
STRAWBERRY: I’ve been taking Fufu to pet school.
KING THISTLE: Well, it's very impressive. Why can't Gaston do tricks like that?
HOLLY: Gaston can do tricks.
KING THISTLE: Really?
BEN: Yes. We've been teaching him to fetch your slippers.
KING THISTLE: Oh! I'd like to see that.
HOLLY: Gaston, fetch Daddy's slippers.(Barks)
KING THISTLE: Good boy, Gaston!
HOLLY: Drop the slippers, Gaston.(Growls)
BEN: Drop!(Growls)
HOLLY: Drop! Drop!
KING THISTLE: He ate my slippers!
HOLLY: Sorry, Daddy.
KING THISTLE: Bad Gaston! Eugh! Sit, Gaston! Sit, I say! Eugh!
I think it's about time Gaston was trained.
STRAWBERRY: He can go to pet school with Fufu.
KING THISTLE: Good idea, Strawberry. Lead the way!
STRAWBERRY: Here we are. This is pet school.
BEN: Look - all our friends are here.
BARNABY: Hello. This is my pet, Stanley the insect. (Barks)
ALL: Hello, Stanley
(Sniffs)
KING THISTLE: Gaston!
HOLLY: It's alright, Daddy.They're just saying hello.
ROSIE: This is my pet, Bobby Bee.
ALL: Hello, Bobby Bee!
JAKE: This is my pet, Archie the ant.
ALL: Hello, Archie.
QUEEN MARIGOLD: Hello there!
KING THISTLE: Oh, no!It's King and Queen Marigold. Well, hello! How nice to see you.
KING MARIGOLD: We always bring our pedigreen greenflies to pet training.
HOLLY: We've brought our ladybird.(Barks)
QUEENL MARIGOLD: You remember Lucinda, Gucci,and Timmy.
KING MARIGOLD: Timmy, say hello to the ladybird.
(Barks)
QUEEN MARIGOLD: Timmy!
KING MARIGOLD: Oh, no!
HOLLY: Gaston, spit Timmy out.
KING THISTLE: Sorry about that.
HOLLY: Look - here comes Miss Jolly.
KING THISTLE: Who's Miss Jolly?
JOLLY: Whoa! (Snail neighs) Whoa, Trigger! Steady, boy!
Morning, everybody!I'm Miss Jolly!
ALL: Morning, Miss Jolly.
JOLLY: Everyone on time? Good show! Well done, Archie. Nice posture, Stanley.
BEN: She's funny.
JOLLY: Chin up, Bobby. That's better. Let's face the future like we mean it!
Aha! A new pet. Wonderful.Does he have a name?
HOLLY: He's called Gaston,and I'm Holly.
BEN: I’m Ben!
KING THISTLE: And I'm King Thistle.
JOLLY: Hello, Gaston.(Barks)
Now, Mr Thistle, why isn't Gaston wearing a lead?
KING THISTLE: Er...
HOLLY: He never wears a lead.
JOLLY: Nonsense! He has to wear a lead to be trained.
BEN: Er, he's not really trainable.
JOLLY: Poppycock! All pets are trainable by Miss Jolly. Tell him to sit down.
KING THISTLE: Er, sit, Gaston. Sit down, please. You see? It's impossible.
JOLLY:(shout) Sit!
KING THISTLE: Oh.
JOLLY: Just be firm. Let your pet know who's boss.
Now, let's all show Gaston how we walk with a lead.
Nice and upright. That's it.
KING THISTLE: Do you want to have a go, Gaston?
JOLLY: No, don't talk to Gaston like that! Who's the boss here?
KING THISTLE: Well, I've always thought of Gaston as a friend.
JOLLY: You're the boss, so show him that.
Gaston, heel! Knees up, Gaston! Chin in the air. Don't slouch.
Good boy, Gaston. What a good boy. Now you do it, Mr Thistle.
KING THISTLE: Er, heel?
JOLLY: Not bad, but louder. Heel-! OK, to the obstacle course,everyone.
Don't dilly-dally! Now the seesaw. Very good. Through the tunnel. Excellent!
Round the poles. And jump over the mud pit. No flying, please, Bobby.
KING THISTLE: Come on, Gaston. Jump over.
JOLLY: Remember who's in charge. Gaston, jump! That's it. Now the seesaw. Good work!
Straight through, please. Good boy, Gaston! Round the poles. And jump over the mud pit.
BEN: Uh, oh. Gaston's in the mud.
HOLLY: He's covered in it.
JOLLY: (Laughs) No harm in a bit of mud,is there, Gaston?
(Barks)(Laughter)
HOLLY: Oh, no. Gaston is going to shake himself dry.
(All gasp)
HOLLY: Sorry, Miss Jolly.
JOLLY: (Laughs) You're a mucky pup, aren't you, Gaston? But next time you will jump over!
Now, who'd like to show us all a trick?
QUEEN MARIGOLD: Oh, oh, me first! My greenflies can dance. (Laughs)
JAKE: Archie can lift really heavy things.
ALL: Wow!
BURNABY: Stanley can walk on his front legs!
(All exclaim and applaud)
ROSIE: Bobby Bee can do a somersault.
(All exclaim and applaud)
STRAWBERRY: Fufu can shake hands.
ALL: Amazing!
JOLLY: And what about Gaston?
BEN: Er, he does know how to fetch shoes.
JOLLY: Excellent!
KING THISTLE: But maybe it's not a good time to see it.
JOLLY: Fiddle sticks! No time like the present. Gaston, fetch my boot!
HOLLY: Oh, no! Gaston is going to eat Miss Jolly's boot.
JOLLY: Drop!(All cheer)
KING THISTLE: Wow!
HOLLY: He didn't eat it!
JOLLY: Gaston is now trained!
HOLLY: Thank you, Miss Jolly.
JOLLY: My pleasure. Just remember Miss Jolly's simple rule! Show them who's boss!
ALL: Yes, Miss Jolly!
JOLLY: Bye! Toodle-pip!
ALL: Bye, Miss Jolly!
KING THISTLE: It seems a bit silly to keep Gaston on the lead.
HOLLY: But, Daddy, you're meant to show Gaston who's boss!
KING THISTLE: Oh, I'm sure it wouldn't do any harm just this once. There we go!(Barks)
HOLLY: Erm, should we keep Gaston outside? Nanny doesn't like his muddy feet indoors.
KING THISTLE: Oh, yes. Gaston, wait outside.
(Barks) Oh Well, I think we can bend the rules just this once. (Barks)
QUEEN THISTLE: Hello. How was training?
HOLLY: It was amazing!
BEN: Miss Jolly put Gaston on a lead.
KING THISTLE: Yes. Gaston is completely trained. He does everything I say.
QUEEN THISTLE: Really?
KING THISTLE: Yes. He can even fetch shoes properly now.
QUEEN THISTLE: Goodness. Are you sure?
KING THISTLE: Oh, yes. Watch this. Gaston, fetch the Queen's slippers,please.
Good boy, Gaston. Drop!(Growls) Drop. Drop! Please?
QUEEN THISTLE: Ugh! He's eaten my slippers.
KING THISTLE: What's gone wrong? He was trained a minute ago!
HOLLY: But, Daddy, you did break Miss Jolly's rules.
BEN: Yes! We were supposed to show Gaston who's boss.
KING THISTLE: What do you mean?
HOLLY: You shouldn't have let him off the lead.
BEN: And you shouldn't have let him come in the castle.
KING THISTLE: You're right. I should be much firmer with him. Gaston, sit! Sit.
Oh, well. Pet school isn't such a big deal anyway.
The important thing is Gaston knows who's boss. Come on, Gaston. Off my throne.
(Growls)
Er, yes. I'll just sit down here.
(Barks)
QUEEN THISTLE: Yes, I think Gaston does know who's the boss.
(Barks)
