- To my classmates Lily and Ginny
Lily always had a dream, which was to win the three-leg running at our school sports day. She kept on dreaming how it should be when she won the race.
So one morning Lily told her best friend Ginny, “Ginny, can you practice the three-leg race with me, it will be hard but we might be the class hero if we win.” Ginny agreed as she was so glad that her best friend shared the dream with her. “Now, it all depends on how we practice.” They claimed.
So during every recess while everyone was playing and laughing, they kept on practicing the three-leg running. Sometimes, we would say “hey, come and play with us”, but they never listened. At first, their target was not to trip. After that, to run faster. Lily even borrowed the sports teacher’s stopwatch to check how fast they ran.
Time flew by quickly, and the sports day came. Lily and Ginny were racing against other boys and even last year’s winners. After doing their best, Lily and Ginny won. They became our class hero and Lily’s dream came true.
