上了几次英语原版阅读写作课，从一个词，到一个句子，到一篇小故事，最后老二搞了篇没多大意思的小说出来，居然有6000、7000字，我挺惊讶的，留念吧。估计有很多中式表达或语法问题，如果有哪位高手看到，给指正下，那就太好了。
A girl who loves candy

Chapter 1
Once, there was a small village, in which all the children had got toothache suddenly. No one knew what had happened. At the same time, groups of children in the world had got toothache! An eleven-year-old girl, Brannie was one of these unlucky children.
Chapter 2
Brannie lives in New York with her family. She likes eating candies very much. There is always a candy in her mouth all day long except for a few minutes at mealtimes. She simply wouldn’t feel comfortable if she doesn't have a candy in her mouth. She uses all her pocket money to buy candies. She has a big box full of all kinds of candies. She just adores them.
But on one dark cold rainy evening when Brannie was eating dinner with her family, she suddenly felt a pain from one of her teeth. The wind blew harder outside, a bolt of lighting cracked through the sky, thunder filled the air. During this time, Brannie should be asleep. But she felt more and more painful. She couldn’t sleep. She felt awful.
Chapter 3
In the morning, when she went to eat breakfast, her mother , father and her thirteen-year-old brother——Bran all stared at her, even her father was so shocked that his jaw almost fell.
Her mother came running to her: “Honey, what’s up with your face?”
“what’s up with my face?” Brannie was confused.
“Go look at yourself in the mirror.” Her mother pointed toward the bathroom.
Brannie turned around quickly, ran to the bathroom, pulled and opened the door, looked into the mirror, and screamed:”Ahhh!”
In the mirror, there was an ugly girl whose cheeks were as big as a ballon.
Everyone thought Brannie deserved this toothache. For Brannie had eaten too many candies. Her mother made her eat many medicines, but it didn’t work. Her mother became rather worried. She took Brannie to see a dentist. Instead of getting better, her toothache became even worse. Now, her parents both were anxious about her. They took her to a bigger hospital. But Brannie teeth still hurt very much. Her parents couldn’t do anything to help her. At this time, she couldn't eat well, the teeth hurt so much that she couldn’t chew anything. She couldn’t sleep well either. She always woke up at night because her toothache. She can’t keep her mind on anyting because of the pain. Her parents worried about her, her friends worried about her, her teacher worried about her, She worried about herself, too!
Chapter 4
At one midnight, Brannie woke up because of her toothache. She touched one of her tooth which hurt the most. She found out that this tooth was loose. she pushed a little, suddenly, that tooth felled out. It rolled down to the floor. Just as she reached for the tooth. Two little elves appeared. She was very surprised. But Brannie decided not to disturb them. She wanted to know what the little elves would do. Those two little elves began to push the tooth away.
“Do you think the king will praise us, John? This is the five hundred and twenty fifth tooth we have got.” An elf which was wearing a green coats said.
“I don’t think so, Jack. Tom and Jim have got fifty more than us.” An elf which was wearing a blue hat said.
“Oh, these bad guys,” thought Brannie.
“They stole people’s teeth. I need follow them.” Brannie made up her mind.
She quietly went after them out of her bedroom and through the corridor, she called Bran with her. Bran was very excited, He took himself and Brannie each a coat and some toy weapons. They followed the elves out the back door and in to the woods beside their house. The elves stopped under a big oak tree. Brannie and Bran stopped, too. The elf called John pushed at the tree truck, an invisible door opened.
Brannie and Bran followed the elves stepped inside. In front of them were three tunnels. The elves picked them the middle one.
“Hurry, we’ll be late. ”said Jack the elf. As he was saying, he looked at his watch.
“late for what?” asked John the elf.
“late for the big meeting of course.”
“oh! The big meeting. We really need to hurry.”
The two little elves began to run a little. Soon, they turned right off this tunnel into another slightly narrower passage. Then they turned left. Then left again. Then right. Then left. Then left. Then right. The place was like a gigantic rabbit warren, with tunnels leading this way and that in every direction. Brannie and Bran followed closely behind the elves. If they lost in this place, they would not come out again. Finally, the elves stopped at a big door. They pushed the door open and went inside.
Chapter 5
Brannie and Bran hide into the shadows and peeked through the half opened door. Little wooden tables and chairs were placed neatly and cleanly. And big bags of teeth were all piled up. Little elves like John and Jack were busy running this way and that. Some were putting the teeth which had just been brought back into bags, some were putting flowers on the wooden tables. Then a bell rang. All the elves ran to their seats and sat quietly. A golden door was opened by two servants, they bowed lowly when a bigger elf whose chin was completely covered by his beard. He was wearing a gold crown and a red cloak. All the elves stand up and bowed to him.
“That must be the king.” Bran whispered to Brannie.
“I know, but we come here to save the teeth, we don’t have any plan.”
“Well, we just wait and see what the king would say, then we’ll figure out a plan.”
Inside the room, the elf king sat on a throne.
He said: “ Now, my fellow elves, we’ve gotten many teeth here. As we all know , these teeth are precious. They are beautiful and firm. But if we want to use them to build a house, these teeth aren’t enough. Get on working, elves!”
“Yes, your Majesty.” All the littles bow and said.
“elves, I need to remind you, you must put every teeth in these magic bags,” the king said and pointed to a pile of black bags: “ Is it clear?”
“Yes, it is, your Majesty.” The elves bowed and said again.
Outside the door, in the shadow, Bran whispered “Now, it’s time. It’s a plan that I attract them, and you go in and grab the tooth, ok?”
“Ok, hope it will work.”
Just as the elf king said the meeting is over, Bran ran in and shouted:
“Oh, you bad guys, you’ve stolen my sister’s teeth. Let’s fight! ”
All the elves were stuned. They didn’t believe human had found them.
The elf king pulled out his sword and shouted: “Go on, elves!”
Brannie slipped inside while they fight. She used all her strenghth and pushed the piles of teeth toward the door. When there were only a few steps away from the door, some elves noticed her.
“ Save the teeth!” they shouted and came rushing to her. An idea flashed into her mind. She let herself fall into the piles of teeth, and the teeth fell out of the bags. The teeth flew away, she made it!
Then, Brannie grabbed Bran, and took off.
Chapter 6
When Brannie and Bran noticed they were lost, it was late. They didn’t know which way was right.
“Oh, we are totally lost! What are we going to do?” Bran groaned.
“Bran, come back, these little teeth has been blocked by a rock.” Brannie said excitedly.
“But how did that help us?”
“If the teeth want to go back to its owner, it must know the way out!”
“Oh, you are a genius! ”
“of course I am! ”
They helped the little teeth, and followed them out of the tree. Both of them sighed out of relief.
Chapter 7
“We’re finally out. We’ve done a brave thing. We saved the teeth.” Bran said when they walked toward home.
“Oh, yes! But who will know. No one will believe us.” Brannie answered.
“ I kind of like it, though. It’s an adventure. It makes me feel like a hero.”
“This will be a hero secret between us. Let’s race to home.”
Then ran in their garden, slipped through the back door, and went into their room. Both of them will have a dream about beautiful teeth.
