1. 理解意思
2. Right There Questions文意问题回答
要求对文体的基本结构术语了解。比如一个story，基本元素是character, setting, plot。plot里又有conflict, solution 等等。
●这类基本问题有，
*What's the story/paragraph about? (Main idea)
这个故事/段落的主旨是?
*Who is/are main characters?
故事有哪些主要角色?
*How does the author describe the setting?
故事的时间和场景是怎样的?
*What happened first? In the middle ? Next?last?
故事的发展，首先，其后，在之后，最后?（这边要自己会用顺序词回答）
*What's the problem in the story?
主角遇到了什么问题?
*How is the problem solved ?
他们怎么解决问题?
What's the point of view?
叙事人称
●还有更细节的一些比如，
*What did the character do after...?
*What did the character say when...?
*How did the character react when...?
●和对文章的retell，
*Can you tell the story in order?
按事件发展顺序复述
●而对于nonfiction，原文题除了读懂文章，也要了解caption, footnote, sur-heading,picture, illustration, graph的意义。 也有一些别的问题如
*What's ...?
*What are the kinds of...?
*Where can we find info on...?
等等。
●除此之外，理解文意还包括
1. 分辨main idea和supporting details
2. 理清sequences
3. 区别fact和opinion
4. 学会compare和contrast
5. 了解cause和effect
6. 找到problem和solution
7. Summarize
等等
这些需要会在文中找text evidence，简言之，要能对关键标志词有反应，会划重点。
这一部分也可以写下来，加一句两句opinoin就是最简单的book review了。
3. Inference/connection Questions开放（隐性）问题展开
●这样的问题通常都含有do you think，例如，
*Why do you think the character said that?
主角为什么要说这句话?
*Why do you think the character did that?
主角为什么要这样做?
*What did the character feel when he saw/heard/...? And why?
当主角做...时，主角怎么觉得? 你为什么这样想?
*What did the character feel when others did/said...? And why?
当遇到...时，主角怎么觉得? 你为什么这么说?
*If you were the character, what would you do/say when...?
如果你是角色，你会怎么做? 为什么？
*Why do you think the author wrote the story/paragraph/sentence?
你觉得作者写这个故事，这个段落，这句话的目的是?
*What lesson did the character learn?
故事中主角学到了什么？
*What lesson do you learn?
你通过故事学到了什么？
●以及一些联系生活的问题比如，
*Does the story remind you something in your life? Why?
这个故事让你联想到生活中什么事？
*Does the book remind you of another book? Why?
这个故事让你联想到什么其他书？
*Does the character remind you of someone in your life/In other books? Why?
这个主角有没有让你想到你认识的人或书里其他角色?
*What's the same and difference between you and the character ?
你和主角有什么相同和不同之处?
*Do you know anyone like the character?
你认识什么像故事里角色的人么？
*Is there anything in your life help you to understand the story?
有什么事帮助你理解故事吗？
●对于nonfiction 来说，这一部分通常也包括一些争议题，比如
*Does the info conflict with what you already know?
这本书和你以前的认知有矛盾吗?
*Do you agree or disagree that...? Why?
你认同作者写的吗？
*Do you know anything else about...?
你还知道什么其他关于...?
*Will you do anything differently now after reading?
你新知道了什么？
*What's the purpose for writing the text/paragraph ?
作者写作的目的？
*Use the info from the text to explain ...In real life.
用学到的知识来解释生活中你遇到的事。
答案可以五花八门，但是思路要清晰，无论答案是什么，都需要有理更要有据。这一类问题通常娃都回答不"细"需要不断的追问，而更好的做法则是不同人持有不同观点互相辩论，非常适合作为小组讨论存在。（我觉得国内外精读的区别就在于国外答案是什么都可以但你要说出为什么，国内你知不知道为什么都无所谓但答案只有一个。）
4. Predicting Questions预测问题
阅读前/中的预测，和阅读后的check
这一部分并不比3更深入，只是和3类似也是开放性问题的一种。
●重点也是在说出prediction 之后，要解释why， 然后在看了后文之后，又能对自己的想法和作者实际所写做出对比权衡，比如
*what do you already know about...?
看了图，看了标题，你已经知道了什么？
*What do you want to know about...?
你还想知道什么？
* look at the title, what will the story be?
看标题，你觉得文章会讲什么？
* look at the picture, what will the story be?
看图你觉得文章会讲什么？
在阅读的任何时候停下问，
*What do you think will happen next?Why？
你觉得接下来会发生什么？为什么？
*What do you think the character will do/say? Why？
你觉得他接下来会怎么做，为什么？
在故事结束之后，
* Are your predictions accurate? Why?
你预测的对吗？
* What would happen after the ending?
结尾后还会继续发生什么？
5. 分析文章结构，仿写 或代入写作
●把握文章脉络，画出思维导图。然后转移写作类似题材。
●代入或改变写作，
*If you were the character, what will be different？write your story.
如果你是主角，会有什么不同，把你自己带入这个故事，写一写。
*If you were there（a friend/enemy of the character ）, write the story.
如果你是一个新角色，是主角的朋友，故事会怎么发生。
*If the character didn't do/say that, write the story.
如果主角没说或者没做这件事，后面会怎么进行?
*If the character did/said...What would happen?
如果主角这么说/这么做，后面会怎样？
*What would happen after the ending?
