Dear Journal : A note to my son

 
 I am so sorry, my dear little boy!

 I should have let you brought your schoolbag to kindergarten with you this morning.
 Ms. Zhang was angry at you because of my fault.

 This morning is Halloween parade and games, school is off for the afternoon.
 I thought, then, you don't need to bring your schoolbag with you.
 It is used mainly for holding your extra set of clothes.
 So I just gave you a small shopping bag to receive sweets from others. And obviously you lost track of it at school.
 Ms. Zhang got real upset when she could not find your schoolbag to put in some sweets for you.

 You told me your heart was broken by her harsh words, but you did kept cool without any argument.
 I am proud of you! You are one tough little boy.
 I will remember this lesson for sure, anyway. Nothing pains me so deep like knowing you get hurt by an adult, even if simply by words.
 I will find a chance to talk to Ms.Zhang tomorrow.
 I know she means good, and she likes order in doing everything. 
 This time it is certainly my mistake.

 There is so much for mommy to learn to protect you. I will stand by your side always to keep you safe.
 Yet, I do hope, though, you can be strong and tough on your own through every bits of negativities around you.
 Just like Soren--the barn owl--young guardians of Ga'hoole, you can fight through storm and fire.
