Jacky在一年级的时候在班里英语只能算中下等,记得当时在学校开放日听英语公开课时候,我发现他总是坐在后排听老师的课。我们的英语都是外教上课,外教很多时候讲故事或者做活动时候大家都是自己找位置环坐在地上的,英语课有专门的教室的。Jacky很少发言也没有积极地参与,我后来问他原因他告诉我因为有很多他听不太懂。虽然也有助教但是大部分时间在英语课上时不允许说中文的,而外教也没法顾及到所有的孩子。从那时候起我开始下手着手儿子的英语学习了。
经过两年多的努力,Jacky的英语相对于他本人来说提高了很多,和同班同学相比也超过了当时和他水平差不多的同学,四年节英文分班他很幸运分到了AB班。貌似AB班是很好的班,接着就是CD-EF-GH。他同班的英语学习好的那几个也是在AB班。这个亲身经历让我们深深体验到付出多少就获得多少,即使底子差只要努力就能提高!
