今天中午和COCO一起阅读了HEINEMANN的两本小册子,LEVEL A, BOOK 1(At the Market)和BOOK 2(Rex)。
BOOK 1,COCO很顺利地读完了,因为前几天有用过RAZ的小册子,学习了we, can等高频词。I can see the eggs, 这一页,我问“What else do you see? Do you see a hen?”。图片上有一个hen的看板。物品单词方面都能认读。我仔细看着,觉得她是在看着词读。
BOOK 2,COCO觉得较难。其实I, like这两个词在RAZ的小册子里也有学过。于是帮助回忆,然后带读。动作词方面,由于在DR BIRD里已经学过了很多,所以就引导回忆,例如I like to swing (我就说back and forth), I like to run ( back and forth), I like to climb ( up and down), I like to jump ( one, two, three)。
然后,再提问 Do you like to swim? Do you like to run? 等等,要求COCO用整句话回答。
记得生理心理学上有一个关于语言习得的阐述,在成句表达之前,孩子是电报式语言。我想现在的英语口语就处于这种阶段吧。
昨天晚上做完作业之后阅读之前的读过的RAZ HIGH-FREQUENCY WORD, SET A, BOOK A11, I like, We like。
主要是要复习这些高频词和句子的说法。
这时候就是信马由缰的时候了。
COCO,Do you like strawberries?
Yes, I do. And you like strawberries, too.
Yes, I do. So, we like strawberries.
Coco, do you like pancakes?
So-so. Do you like pancakes?
Yes, I like pancakes very much.
Coco, do you like eggs?
No, I don’t like eggs.
That is too bad.
Coco, do you like to feed the hen?
Yes, I like to feed the hen very much. Lizy likes to feed the squirrel.(这是PLAYWAY TO ENGLISH 里的一个人物)
Why don’t you like eggs?
I DON’T LIKE EGGS!
今天阅读儿童画报的故事,地球是我家,里面说到羊妈妈和小羊羔。于是,便找出HEINEMANN的THE BABY ANIMALS 和体验英语SET A 预备三级的BIG AND LITTLE进行主题阅读。先读HEINEMANN的THE BABY ANIMALS ,由于之前在RAZ已经学过大多数的BABY ANIMALS的名称,所以直接进入Come and see 的对话练习。
我让COCO拿着书,看着书上的图片对我招手,说:“Come and see the baby bird."
" Coming! Oh, the baby bird is just lovely. Thank you."
"Come and see a baby chick, Daddy!"
"Thank you, the baby chick is so cute."
到了最后一页,COCO说,“Come and see the baby animals."
" Coming! What are they?"
"They are baby brid, baby chick, ...."
"Thank you so much for showing me so many lovely baby animals. They are just cute!"
这一本HEINEMANN的THE BABY ANIMALS 读完,紧接着进入体验英语SET A 预备三级的BIG AND LITTLE。两本书有共同的地方,所以要求COCO读书上的话,然后指着图片再说一遍。
很好的是,COCO说到最后一页时会说,“Daddy is big and COCO is little."
接着,就用Come and see的句子表达,
“Daddy, come and see a big horse and a little foal."
"Coming! They are beautiful!"
"Daddy, come and see a big cow and a small calf." COCO会习惯性地把little 说成small。 Well, I think it is alright.
最后,COCO说“come and see a big mum and a little me!"
" Oh, good, it is just fine that you say 'me'" 确实出乎我的意料之外,COCO能转换。
今天阅读机灵狗ABC级的BOOK 26 Dog。
在学习过程中使用设问和反问是一个很好的方法,当Coco有问题的时候,让她学着到书中寻找答案。
“Daddy, what is this?” Coco指着sound study的图问。
“Can you find it in the book?”
“ It is a flower.”
“ Good, the flowers are called daisies. You will see a lot of daisies in the park.”
“What else can you find in the book?”
“I see dirty dog. Dirty dog is dirty.”
“Good, you see A dirty dog. The dirty dog is dirty.”
也许中国人说英语的时候习惯性不用a,the,所以只有用正确的句子去引导养成英语的习惯。Coco能够用到之前学到的I see … ,很不错。
在SOUND STUDY 中还用了选择性的问句。
“Coco, please tell me which is a dog.”
“This is a dog.”
“Which is dirt?”
“This is a dirt.”
“Ok, this is dirt.”
能说到this is a …. 的句子,比起之前进步已经很让我满意了。
今天配合阅读的材料是体验英语预备一级SET A the letter D。听音辨词做得很好。歌谣部分发音比较含糊,我自己也要练习一两遍才可以跟得上。所以,正好就一起学了。只要Coco能够说B-I-N-G-O,the farmer had a dog就已经足够了。
字母d的chant是让Coco逐字逐句读下来,因为chant本身。就像一首rap。练习了两遍,完成得不错。
今天的学习材料是机灵狗ABC级BOOK 26 DOG & 27, DARING DOG,体验英语预备一级SET A the letter D, alphablocks 第四集,why。基本是围绕拼读展开的复习和学习。
机灵狗绘本的文字变少,需要我们使用疑问句来检测听音频的效果。例如
what do you spot in the picture?
please show me the dragon in the book?
can you tell me where the dog is on the last page of the book?
do you think that the daring dog has done all the things?
what do you see in the girl's hand?
etc。
下步计划使用打印的文句贴在机灵狗的书页上,算是增加一些阅读量吧。
今天的English Time使用机灵狗ABC级BOOK 29, huge hamburger。
这本小书图上的信息很丰富, Coco能够说出书中的很多东西。拿到书,Coco就说:
“This is a very very very big hamburger, Daddy.”
“Yes, when we say very very very big, we say huge.”
“Coco, is this huge hamburger real? Can people eat this huge hamburger?”
“No. I can’t eat it. It is not real.”
“Alright, what do you think is it?”
“I don’t know.”
“What do you see in the book?”
“ I see a house, cars, airplane and a horse.”
“ Ok, you see a house, a car, a helicopter and a horse。”
Helicopter 和 horse的发音不够清晰,需要多练习。
不过,比较从前还是进步了很多。
这一期的同龄鸟有介绍ERIC CARLE的文章,于是找出BROWN BEAR BROWN BEAR WHAT DO YOU SEE这本来读。自己打印出来的是黑白的,父女俩就用油画棒上色,上完色,Coco说,“ It is ugly”
I see a ugly brown bear.
I see a ugly blue horse.
I see a ugly yellow duck.
etc.
于是,书名被我们改成
THE VERY UGLY BROWN BEAR。
Eric Carle老爷子听了不要生气啊。Coco非常喜欢这本书的。
今天学习机灵狗ABC级BOOK 36, THE LETTER K。先把BOOK 35复习了一下,请教了论坛里的高手,结果很快得到了答案,欣慰异常!那只蜥蜴叫Lizard。下次见到他,我可以跟他打招呼了。
BOOK 36学完之后,接着读了体验英语SET A 预备一级 the letter K。
掌握良好,让Coco上床睡了。春天是长身体的好时光,要让孩子多睡觉。
