a. Rassias Method:
The object of this method is to introduce the leaner to dynamic usage of the target language in a relatively short amount of time. This method also works to inhibit nervousness and to create a nurturing environment where students do not fear making mistakes.
b. Total Physical Response:
This method explains that second languages can be acquired by students in much of the same manner that infants have learned their first language.
c. Content-Centered Language Learnig:
This method suggests that the teaching of subjects is used to further language development.
d. Lexical Method:
This method holds that learning occurs through the development of words and word combinations.
e. Whole-Language Approach:
This method contains divergent perspectives about the core content, such as focusing on motivational aspects of literacy; emphasizing on high-quality and culturally-diverse literature; integrating literacy skills into other areas of the curriculum, etc.
