比较晚了,也来凑个热闹。
Fish小一,英语学习起步较晚,2010年9月开始跟着学校一起学的。
英语特色小学,所以入学前几个月我对他的要求是能跟上学校的教学进度即可,没在外面任何补充。
入学三个多月后,12月份,学校要求默写单词,孩子比较痛苦,半个多小时记不住4个单词,我觉得有必要让孩子学习一下自然拼读。
当务之急,找了一位认识的老师,一对一跟着老师学自然拼读,此时学校里拼读也开始学了。学了一个月放寒假,过春节,就没再学了,春节过好让他继续,他不肯,说一个人对着老师上课太吃力了。
(寒假前跟英语老师沟通过一次,第一次把他入学一张白纸的情况跟老师沟通,并请教老师亟待需要补充的部分。老师说他还可以,虽是一张白纸,但是学习兴趣很浓,很积极的跟着说说唱唱,回答问题。但是他们学习会有很多课外知识做补充这部分他目前是零,老师建议增加基础知识的积累还有词汇方面积累。因为下学期开始他们学校要学三本教材,进度加快,有些基础词汇不提前积累会比较累。)
寒假三周让他背了Kid's story(校本教材)里的单词。可能跟之前学习过一个月的自然拼读有关系,背单词的效率明显提高。
开学后,开始了加州拼读的学习,每周二次。2月下旬起

    入了爸妈网,才想着其实英文的学习,也应该像学习语文一样,有海量的阅读做为基础。
    同时也在H版的很多帖子里受益良多,从今天开始,除学校里面的英语功课和加州拼读的功课外,闲暇时间给他安排绘本阅读。
    同时开这个帖子,自我监督完成情况。

    之前没有做过尝试,不知道熟悉一本绘本需要几天,我的目标是一周的时间,希望能通过一周的时间让他最好精读精听一本绘本。
    今天打算选   A Dark, Dark Tale ,这个的MP3之前下载过,同时在网上找到了这个绘本的Flash,没有书之前,只能先用这种方法尝试了。

    5月8日有加州拼读课,课前做了预习,并且复习了上节课的的扩充单词,掌握情况良好。
          帆船sail,监牢jail,人名Gail,痛pain,收获gain,不劳无获no pain no gain,付钱pay
         星期一Monday, 星期二Tuesday,星期三Wednesday, 星期四Thursday,星期五Friday,星期六Saturday ,星期日Sunday,  
         今天today,昨天yesterday,假期holiday,祈祷pray,说say

    他的一个特点,像“不劳无获no pain no gain”这种俚语他记得很牢,问他pain或gain什么意思时,他要放到句子里想一下,才记得。

    因为上课所以,A Dark Dark Tale只睡前盲听了两遍,他会跟着一起读。

    A Dark Dark Tale,跟读两遍,生词汇基本知道什么意思了。
    盲听很多遍,听至睡着。中、英文阅读一起来时间上还是有点吃紧的,他先自己读半本《小猪梅西》就已经快8点半了,看来只能功课少的时候多听、多读点,功课多的时候少听点了。

    计划今天再看文本或视频跟读,让他对绘本及内容更了解,并且尝试给他默写本课生词。自从学习了自然拼读和加州拼读后,单词默写不是难事,基本上符合发音规律的词汇听到都差不多能写得出,默写让他加深对课文记忆。

    视频跟读2遍,文本跟读2遍,MP3跟读2遍。
    单词看来还是他的弱项,故事内容已经了解,但是具体到每个单词还是不愿意背,不想一下就把他的阅读兴趣打消,默写单词取消。
    计划明天开始新绘本。

    A mother bird sat on her egg.
    The egg jumped.
    “Oh oh!” said the mother bird. “My baby will be here! He will want to eat”
    “I must get something for my baby bird to eat!” she said. “I will be back!”

    The baby bird did not stop. He ran on and on.
    Now he looker way, way down. He saw a boat. “There she is!” said the baby bird.
    He called to the boat, but the boat, but the boat did not stop.
    The boat went on.
    He looked way, way up. He saw a big plane. “Here I am, Mother,” he called out.
    But the plane did not stop. The plane went on.
    Just then, the baby bird saw the big thing. This must be his mother!
    “There she is!” he said. “There is my mother!”
    He ran right up to it.
    “Mother, Mother! Here I am, Mother.” He said to the big thing.
    But the big thing just said, “Snort.”
    “Oh, you are not my mother,” said the baby bird. “You are a Snort. I have to get out of here!”
    But the baby bird could not get away. The Snort went up. It went way, way up.
    And up, up, up went the baby bird..
    But now, where was the Snort going? “Oh, oh, oh! What is this Snort going to do to me? Get me out of here!”
    Just then, the Snort came to a stop.
    “Where am I?” said the baby bird. “I want to go home. I want my mother!”
    Then something happened. The Snort put that baby bird right back in the tree. The baby bird was home!
    Just then the mother bird came back to the tree. “Do you know who I am?” She said to her baby.
    “Yes, I know who you are,” said the baby bird.
    “You are not a kitten.
    “You are not a hen.
    “You are not a dog.
    “You are not a cow.
    “You are not a boat or a plane, or a Snort!”
    “You are a bird, and you are my mother.”

    小朋友听力还不错,这么大段的听力, 盲听他就听懂了挺多,我问他baby bird碰到哪些动物,他就一个一个说出来,但是后面有些生单词他还是不会的。前面部分听得不错。

    一周不在,回来问他一听了几次阅读,他回只听了一次,我这个郁闷呀。
    看来亲子还是有必要的,这么大个孩子让他自觉还是有点难。

    今天又在当当上看到特价的国家地理,我买的这套国家地理提高级还放在办公室,一年了都没用过,着实浪费。
    因为他们学校里的一本校本教材里很多内容都是从国家地理入门级里选出来的,所以也一直没急着给他听这套提高级。
    刚好现在要培养他的阅读习惯,现成的书不用,还在网上找来找去也挺麻烦,打算先把这套书给他弄玩再读其它的。
    选了一本 I can breathe underwater,配套练习也有。
    看了一下家长手册,发现跟他们学校对英语的要求还是比较像的,那我也就按学校里的要求来要求他。
    平均一周完成一本;
    要求掌握程度,能流利复述并且配合相关表演动作(帮助记忆);
    每节课的关键单词不要求默写,但是要求见到就认识;
    语音语调要求跟CD完全一样;
    这样的要求虽然跟学校的要求一样,但是不知道家长的要求能不能做到跟学校一样完美。
    只能先试看看

    呵呵,看来还是《国家地理》适合他。
    开开心心地听I can breathe underwater,并且根据短文内容自己设计了一套动作,帮助他记忆。
    第一天先跟读,认识生单词,今天我会把单词卡片找出来给他熟悉单词。

    国家地理还是比较适合他的,开开心心、蹦蹦跳跳地跟着读。快乐阅读挺好的,只要保持他不失去学习的兴趣,虽然起步晚,虽然速度慢,相信他会有进步的。

    昨晚睡前看着书听了一遍,
    然后盲听到睡着。
    其实这篇对他来讲不太难,生僻的词汇不多,没听之前,基本上已经可以自己读了。

    把练习册完成了,并且把短文录了音。不错,孩子学习这本书比较主动,而且对他难度也不是太大。

    昨天听之前让他自己读了一遍,
    这一篇也已经可以比较流利地读下来了,
    周日让他录好,完成练习册,就再开始新的一册的学习。
    录成音频这主意还是他自己想出来的,因为加州拼读的音频作业一直是上传到土豆的,上周日他录加拼作业的时候说刚好把这个也录下来。
    他们学校有一本类似国家地理的校本教材,老师最后检查的时候也是让他们录磁带的,老师在磁带里给改正读音、语调 的不准确。虽然我是听不出跟原版是否完全一样(他们学校是要求跟磁带完全一至,包括语调),但是他能有这份主动学习的心,把学校里好的学习方法坚持下去,就好了。

    睡前看着书听了一遍,然后盲听,应该已经比较熟练了。
    可以开始下一本了。周日录音,并上传,完成练习册。

    周日没有完成录音,期末复习阶段了,学校里要求读的东西,比较多。
    KID‘S STORY 7-11  佳音书  牛津书,还有N张卷子,算了,看着孩子已经很辛苦了,我就自动把这个任务推后了。
    昨天上了加州拼读的课程,这本书快要学完了,老师扩充了一下感叹句。想一次就学会,并且熟练运用肯定不行,随着以后练习和应用的增加,希望能运用自如。

    睡前继续听What color is the sky.
    今天还花了些时间完成老师的作文作业。
    写几句话,说说喜欢的季节。他的强项是,如果让他讲,可能更快一点,但是写下来挺困难,词汇和语法的积累不多。只能简单写写。明天让老师改吧。
    I like spring.
    Because it is beautiful . The flower is colorful and the tree and the grass is green in spring .
    I can ride a bicycle and skip a rope in the park.
    I can fly a kite in the windy.

    昨天到是录了What color is the sky,但是有一个地方读错了,他不肯让我传上来。the afternoon.
    他说这一篇还不太熟练,希望能再听听。那就让他再听几天吧。刚好这周英语、语文要口试,忙着复习。
    昨天写的那个作文,第二句,语法错误很多。今天加拼的作业就是继续改这篇作文。

    第一天让他盲听,第一遍听完,他就跟我说妈妈这是动物接龙。呵呵,看来他还是听懂了一些。

    这些天虽然期末考试,但是睡前他还是能主动要求开小布叮要听英语。不错呢。
    不过我跟他商量让他听听神奇树屋的英语,并且我们家还有全套的书,他当场拒绝,说自己听不懂。我说那你降世神通倒是能看懂的呀,他说那是他看着猜的,我只能鼓励他,多听多看就懂了。

    每天还是主动听,但是这篇,他说好难,能不能不要录音,只回答问题就行。呵呵,可能这篇对他来说真的挺难,比较多的生单词。
    学校要求暑假听、读《牛津阅读树》,不知道还有没有充裕的时间再来听读国家地理。

    暑假开始了,从今天起增加二星、三星英语的学习。
    儿歌、故事、词汇方面的学习。今天学了一个儿歌、一个短文,还有5页的单词,磁带还没拿到,自己读起来还不是完全熟练,看来还要多听多练。
