Eric Carle 1,2,3 to the zoo. 小宝最近迷上坐地铁,他称之为take a train,这本书他找到了共鸣,有一天让妈妈讲了不下10次。我们是这样讲这本书的:封面,小宝和妈妈一起说:1,2,3 to the zoo by Eric Carle,小宝说的铿锵有力。妈妈说开场白:Choo-choo, choo-choo, first comes the engine, big and strong, carrying a lot of cars along. Look, look, look, here comes the animals. 1 elephant takes a (green train). 2 hippos take a (red train).括号是小宝的接龙。他能准确的说出各个颜色,当然说错也没有关系,就这么一直说到最后。

Monkey and me:我很不喜欢这本书的画风,小女孩的眼睛,整个色调,感觉阴阳怪气的。情节很简单,一个小女孩抱着她的玩具猴子,学企鹅,袋鼠,大象等等走路,用来自主阅读或许不错,宝宝基本能读出来了,当然不是认字,而是听我读过后看着画面记下来了:

两岁以后对书的喜爱和重复阅读开始显现,我也终于迎来了一本书要求读十几二十遍的黄金时期,这本书居然是——Little blue and little yellow. 选书的时候看到这本有纸板的,毫不犹豫收来读了。一读就不可收拾,第一天读了有二十遍吧,接下来每天都要读十来遍。就因为这本书,每天我下班踏进家门,小宝就拉着我的手,说:“宝宝要到妈妈床上读书。”因为那是我们固定的读英文书的地方。我说:“Sorry, honey. It’s not our bedtime. Shall we just take a book and read it in the living room? Which book you wanna read? ”宝宝答:“Little blue and little yellow. 妈妈拿。”然后就是这本书一直读到吃晚饭,有时在饭桌上还不舍放下。
From head to toe:旧书新读,小宝已经完全可以表演了,每次必读2-3遍。
Animal I spy:认识一些动物的基本特征,百科类的书,因为我知识的匮乏,引导起来很困难,这是需要我下功夫的,明年是计划要大量加入百科的,考验很大。
Bear’s day out:sing-song story,We are going on a bear hunt的同名作者。很美的韵文,“Doo bee doo, doo bee doo, doo bee doodily doo.”不知不觉你也会跟着唱起来,小宝的喜爱程度仅次于Little blue and little yellow,也是被要求读五六遍以上的书。
David smells! 一岁多看No, David!完全没有感觉,现在是很喜欢这个David了,因为他听多了妈妈讲Don’t touch, don’t’ taste, don’t eat, that’s too loud, I see you等等,完全理解了这本书讲的5 senses,应该也能理解David的行为吧。小宝还硬要加上第六感,No 6 sense, 于是我说feeling, feeling in your heart, You feel sad, you feel happy, you feel scared, you feel lonely. 小宝好像听懂了。于是一遍一遍要妈妈重复这六个感觉。括号里是我给小宝的解释。
No 1 sense is seeing. (做Pee-k-boo, I see you的动作,做眼珠四处转动的动作。You look around with your eyes. )
No 2 sense is hearing. (That’s too loud. You made too much noise. Listen, listen, what’s that sound? )
No 3 sense is smell. (Sniff, 作sniff状,What’s that awful smell? Is that your poop? Is that your pee?)
No 4 sense is taste. (Yum, yum)
No 5 sense is touching. (摸宝宝的皮肤 Touch your skin, it’s smooth.)
No 6 sense is feeling. (戳戳宝宝的小心脏. Your feeling is in your heart.)

小乌龟看的次数大大减少,准备引入新一部动画片,试了一集Bob the builder,小宝能接受,我却觉得发音不清晰,听着累。
Sheep out to eat 冒险小羊系列在童书界也是常胜军,用简单的词句和独特的韵文说故事,色铅笔的插画很动感,很细腻,但是这本小纸板开本太小,对于2岁的小宝宝来讲颜色不够鲜艳,看插画细节感觉很累,而这本书就是要通过插画来了解韵文的。所以给其他家长们的建议就是这类以色铅笔表现的书一定要买大开本的,这样才能欣赏到作者细腻的笔触和动感的画面。

Junkyard Dig! Building from A to Z 汽车镇的故事关键是要熟悉各种车的名称,性能,特点,感谢坛里家长做了功课,我们参考即可。
Freight train 获奖书,孩子再大一些可以一起手工制作一列Freight Train。这本小书涵盖很多知识点,颜色,货运车的功能,货运车途经的隧道,城市,高架桥(trestle),及白天黑夜的概念。列车飞快的驶过,作者表现出来的绘图光影,很有速度和视觉感。
为了更好的理解,提前做好功课还是有必要的:
Blue gondola car,形似威尼斯河道上的刚朵拉船,是两侧低矮,顶上无盖的车皮 an open railroad freight car with low sides.
Purple box car,两侧高,带移动滑门,且有盖的车皮 a fully enclosed railroad car with sliding high side doors.
反义词组:open/enclosed, low/high
Yellow hopper car,黄色漏斗车,这种车底部有个能开合的门,方便卸货。 A hopper car has a door in the floor through which materials are unloaded.
Green cattle car,绿色运畜车 a railroad car for carrying livestock
Orange tank car,橙色油罐车 a freight car that transports liquids or gases in bulk.
Black tender car,蒸汽火车的煤水车 a freight car that supplies coal and water for the steam engine train
Red caboose at the back,火车最后一截的尾车叫caboose,为火车上的乘务和驾驶人员提供餐饮和休息的车厢。Caboose is the last car on a freight train, having kitchen and sleeping facilities for the train crew.

比如,我看到桌上多了一个新的玩具小熊(奶奶已经告诉我是科技馆的阿姨送的),我问:You have a new friend, who gave you this little bear? 回答:阿姨. 继续问:Which aunt? 答:科技馆. Oh, so a nice lady in the museum gave you a cuddly bear. 我做总结。小宝笑眯眯:Yes.
小宝把球滚到柜子底下,要我拿出来,我故意说的很复杂:My arms are not long enough. I cannot reach the ball. Maybe we need a stick. Do you have a stick? Think around. Ok, go get a broom around that corner near the bamboos. It will help. 小宝蹭蹭蹭,跑过去又回来,递给我一把扫帚。
小宝玩IPAD,我说:Look at me and say I love you Mommy. 小宝当没听见,头也不抬,我又说一遍,还是不理。我再说:I will take away your IPAD if you don’t say a word to me. 小宝立马抬头,快速说了一句:I love you Mommy. 继续埋头玩他的玩具。
大宝的IPAD设了密码,小宝第一次玩的时候,我告诉小宝,White IPAD has a password. Enter the number ****. 小宝领会并准确输入,到现在已经很熟练了。
妈妈和小宝唱生日快乐歌,唱到第三个happy birthday to you的时候,很不用心,音阶没有上去,小宝不满,说:妈妈唱错了,应该这样唱,把birthday拉高了三度,妈妈很惭愧,重唱一遍,小宝笑眯眯:这回唱对了。大宝在一旁乐的倒仰。
学乐书,质量没得说。这本小百科对我家小宝是难了,但是这些问题如果在平日里一点点灌输给宝宝,那样对宝宝是很容易理解的,那就需要妈妈先花点时间把问题和答案记在脑子里。列举几个书里的问题:

What do the birds say when they sing?
Can we drink rain?
How many people are there in the world?
Is anyone the same like you?
What are clouds made of?
How does a bird come from its egg?
Why is the sun warm?
……
如果有妈妈需要这样的问题和答案,我可以敲上来,妈妈可以丰富自己的词汇量和知识,平日里说给宝宝听。
你给的建议提醒了我,最近半年确实以中文绘本为主导了。8月一直以听为主,听wee sing for baby, 加了语感启蒙。昨天突然对我说shoulder,然后我指着我的肩膀回应他Here is shoulder。九月份准备给他看听peppa pig,适当的时候加些简单的英文绘本看看。坚持中。。。。。谢谢!{:soso_e100:}

第一天, 我献宝一样拿出这张童谣(A4黑白打印带图童谣),先快速念了一遍,小宝一下就被吸引过来了,我指着字读一遍给他听,再解释生词
fetch: getting something to bring it back,应该不好理解,我后来就直接解释 get
pail: I will show you something called pail,直接把小宝拉到卫生间,一只红色的水桶告诉他 This is a pail, see, water in the pail, a pail of water
crown: another way of saying head, touch the crown of your head
tumbling after: rolling down 结合图片应该可以理解
小宝非常感兴趣,很喜欢听我读,读过五六遍之后我就不读了,贴在墙上
第二天, 指着图片问小宝,Do you remember the name of the girl who went up the hill? 问了好几遍,不回答,我作解释, This boy is named Jack, this girl is named Jill, they are Jack and Jill. 解释过后再问小宝,这次小宝回答Jack and Jill 我心里虽然很郁闷,还是耐着性子告诉小宝No, the name of the girl is Jill. 然后开始读童谣,还是五六遍
第三天, 指着图片问小宝:Do you remember the name of the girl who went up the hill? 这次回答很干脆:Jill. 我很高兴,That’s right. Jill went up the hill. 再读童谣五六遍,听到小宝轻轻地跟读
第五天, 我先念了两三遍,我告诉宝宝我们来接龙,我一句你一句Ok, who goes first? 妈妈。于是我说:Jack and Jill 小宝接 went up the hill,就这样顺利的接下来了。一遍结束,我说Now you go first。小宝先说Jack and Jill,又一遍接下来了。

第一天, 解释这首儿歌,指着图片告诉小宝, This boy is named Jonny. He wants to play with his toys in the yard. But you see, Jonny is holding an umbrella. It’s raining, Mr Sun is hiding behind the tree. Guess what does Jonny say to the tree. (图中小男孩仰望着一棵大树)。 然后指着字念童谣给小宝。
本周最受欢迎小书。书中介绍了motorboat, racecar, train, airplane, rocket. 小宝自从去了科技馆,对小火箭有了更直观的认识,跟他将Rockets blast astronauts deep into outer space. Astronauts go to the moon. 小宝可以很好的理解。

很温馨的关于母爱的小书,页数偏多,更适合3岁的宝宝来阅读。
Whose feet?
猜一猜是谁的脚?很低幼很有趣的一套小科普,可惜我家小宝不感兴趣。我就只简单的给他灌输几个概念,Ducks have webbed feet. Centipede has hundreds feet. 蜈蚣虽称百足,实际上并没有那么多,我只是告诉小宝蜈蚣有很多条腿,到底有多少条,等以后读到相关的科普书再来探讨吧。Horse’s feet are called hooves. So we usually say horse hooves.
第四天, 我下班回来,小宝拉着我的手要听Hey diddle diddle,我提要求:Can you read it for me first, then mommy plays the music for you. 我只是试探性的想鼓励小宝开口,没想到小宝真说下来了。当然是口齿很不清晰的那种,而且还是吞掉S音的。这个阶段,发音和口齿不是重点,重点在于敢开口。高兴之余,赶紧给小宝打开flash。两个人又一起欣赏了10来遍。
