One day, the hare, the mouse, the squirrel and the hedgehog were eating in the meadow. “I am the fastest in the world”, said the hare. Just then the tortoise went by. When he heard it, he said: “No, I am the fastest in the world”. “No, I am the fastest”, said the hare. “Ok, we’ll have a race”, said the tortoise, “see the road up to the top of the hill?” “Yes” said the hare. “Who go first to the top of the hill, he wins.” “OK” said the hare. “The mouse, squirrel, hedgehog will be the judge.” said the tortoise. The judge went to the top of the hill first.

蓝色的单词是我教娃的，这一段娃讲的比较单调。但是用了一些从句，还不错。

我也想请教一下， who go first to the top of the hill, he wins.  这样说可以么？？

我知道平时应该说 He who go first to the top of the hill wins.

When the judge arrived at the top of the hill, they cried: “are you ready?” “Yes” said the hare and the tortoise. “OK. One, two, three, go!” said the judge. The hare went very fast, but the tortoise was slow. “The tortoise must be kidding.” thought the hare, “I will win.”

第二段描述心理活动的不错。红色的是我觉得娃说的不错的地方。

When the hare arrived at half of the hill, he stopped and said: “The tortoise is too slow, he can’t win. I will sleep for a while.” The he slept under a big tree. He didn’t sleep for a while, but for a long time. When the tortoise is closer to him, he whispered: “he is so foolish. I know he thought I will never exceed him.” The he went on climbing.

whisper用的不错，最近MTH里面常出现。

When the hare woke up, he saw the tortoise almost at the top of the hill. “Oh, no,” he said, “he can’t win. I’ll run as fast as I can.”  But when he ran to the top of the hill, he saw the tortoise already crossed the finishing line. “Oh, no” said the hare “ he won.”

最后结尾简单了点。不过as as用的还不错

whoever reaches the top of the hill first, wins

我是想，孩子用词各方面都比较简单

我给他修改的时候，也希望变化不要太大

否则他也会被改的没信心

标准的课文里面，有boast about， get tired of之类的词，打算今晚让他也用来造句。巩固一下

很牛的孩子很牛的妈~~~

只要表达到位，简单的词就简单的词，我还更倾向于用单句，而非从句。难到现在小学一年级就开始学从句了吗？我看过的3-6岁的绘本都是单句。

昨天正好和娃读了泡泡英语2里面的 The hare and the tortoise。
这样表达是不是更好理解呢：
The hare/tortoise reaches the top of the hill first, he wins/he is the winner.

当时他们还在制定比赛规则，谁先到山顶，谁算赢

所以不能确定主语

whoever是最好的，只是娃还对这个词不熟

Tortoise:        See the mountain top?
Rabbit:        Yes.
Tortoise:        The first one to reach there, wins.
        Okay?
Rabbit:        Okay.

现在有个疑问，觉得Magic Tree House对嘟来说简单了点，不知道要不要给他过一遍
他白天在家听半小时，已经听到第13本，有些喜欢的段落都能背诵了
而读的话，每天只肯读一章。所以到现在才读到第五本

现在一章里面的生词在5-6个

我是不是太心急了，都不想让他读一遍了，就光划线讲生词算了

神奇树屋28本以后难度上来一些了，另外，学习的方法多种多样，如果你只把它当作科幻小说来看的话，粗略过一遍确实花不了多少时间，但如果想把相关的历史百科等知识串起来学习的话，也不是那么简单，需要做非常多的拓展。配套的学习指导书也够学习一阵的了。

今天娃做了第二次的retelling

Sukie is a rabbit. He likes to go out to play. One day, he passed some bushes. He saw a little bee. “Hey, look! The little bee is very small.” said Sukie.  Just then Sam saw Sukie. He ran to him because he wanted to play with him. “Hi” said Sam, “my name is Sam, what’s your name?” “My name is Sukie.” “Can you play with me?” “OK”.

Sam ran after Sukie. He is fast but Sukie is faster. “Hey, you are very fast.” said Sukie. “Right” said Sukie, “Many rabbits say I am fast.” Sukie jumped over a stream. Then he looked back. “Come on, Sam. Now you have to cross the stream.” said Sukie. “But I can’t jump.” said Sam, “I can’t go over the stream.” “Just try once.” said Sukie. “But if I fall into the stream, I’ll be sick.” said Sam.

“Oh, well.” said Sukie sadly. But just then Sam flied up and across the stream.  “Hey, Sam” said Sukie, “why did you think out this plan so late? “ I don’t know. But I just did it.”  Then they play together again.

这次的retelling比较简单，卡片是加州里面的Pam and Sam. 娃把Sam改成了Sukie.

发现娃在做复述的时候，比较喜欢用对白。打算慢慢引导到别的表达方式。比如， said sukie sadly， 是否建议他改成Sukie is disappointed.

Why did you think out this plan so late. 这句感觉中文思维的痕迹很明显。是否应该改成 Why hadn\'t you come up with this idea earlier?

你们有更好的建议么？

最近又做了2次加州卡片的retelling

这一阶段，孩子时态错误很多，不过我没有特意纠正。主要关注他用词。

下面是昨天的看图说话。本来嘟还想加一句，小红鸡话音刚落，他的朋友们就垂头丧气地离开了。可是他不知道怎么说
