為什麼不叫EFL，因為不希望英語成為孩子們的外語，所以，我用ESL。
希望我願望成真啊。也不講雅思這兩個字，大家好像怕怕。也不用講壇，我不是老師，也不是專家，不敢開講壇。只希望與大家一起進步，歡迎大家一起探討，我不是專家，大家隨便拍磚啊，可能拍拍下，我就成磚家了，大家送我的磚夠我起幾棟HOUSE。後面更新可能沒這麼快，孩子們上學了，而且我也要找工作了。）
家庭關係
常用詞：immediate, extended, family ties, close-kint, close, rivalry, conflict, siblings, maternal...
我們常常會這樣講：關係好的家庭
聊天版：
Well my family is kinda small, just my parents, my brother and me. Hey, y\'know, my parents come from very large families, so my extened family is very large. Guess what! I have 23 consins! When we were young, we always played together. We screwed everything up! That\'s very fun. We are a very close-knit family.（口語化的詞語為BLUE）
雅思版：
My immediate family is relatively small, just my parents, my bother and me. But both of my parents come from very large families, so my extended family is very large- I have 23 consins. Our family gatherings are pretty chaotic but fun. We are a very close-knit family. The family ties are very strong.
會讓你顯得讀過書的詞，已經標出深紅色。
我們常常會這樣講：關係不好的家庭
較正式的聊天版（講不好的時候，大家應該沒心情開玩笑吧？）：A: Did you know that there used to be a big feud (fight是更口語化的用法，但feud更貼切，後面會解釋）between my father and brother? My brother held a grudge for years. Then about 5 years ago, they made up.
B: I don\'t know, what happened?
A: My sister-in-law\'s side of family has always looked down on mine. She comes from old money and they didn\'t approve of her marrying my brother. My father didn\'t approve of my brother marrying her, too.
A: Oh, that\'s terrible.
B: But about five years ago, they made up. Of course they are not close as before, but at least there are no hard feelings between the two of them any longer.
我們常常會這樣講：關係好但慢慢疏遠的家庭雅思版：When I was little, I was great because we have a really great relationship. But nowadays, all we seem to do is argue and that causes a lot of conflict between us. So I don\'t really feel I can go to them for help. I can\'t even remember the last time I saw a movie with my parents-we just don\'t have much in common any more.

其實我覺得口語考試與我們正常生活的說話的最大不同是，要自己一個人講5句話，要有理有據，要有邏輯關係。連接詞一定要注意用好，其它真的沒什麼了，只是個別的用詞更文藝而已。
雅思考試用到的話，日常生活中與人交流也會用到，不過就是比較正式及較為上流一點的人交流用到的，但是好真心的講句，如果我跟你是真正FRIEND的話，我才不會這麼文藝，大家隨便啦，對不對？
*immediate family
Your own family, means your parents, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters. Husbands and wifes, children.
*extend family
Your grandparents, your consins, your uncles, your aunts and so froth.
*to make up: means to ended argument and become friendly again.
eg: A husband and a wife could be arguing and disgreeing about something and they both get mad of each other, but them they make up.
*no love lost:
There is no feelings of love or affection, respect or friendship between two people.
eg: There is no love lost between me and my neighbour means you don\'t get along with your neighbour, you don\'t like each other.
*hard feeling:
anger and resentment usually because of an argument you had many years ago.
eg: Sometimes afther people have an argument and they make up. They may say \'no hard feelings\', means let\'s not continue to be angry at each other.
*look down on:
To look down on someone means you don\'t like someone because you don\'t think they are as good as you. You think you are better than them, you disapprove of them.
*old money:
Very rich family that it has a lot of money for years. Maybe many generations.
*new money:
People who have recently made money, negative idea when you say new money. You usually looking down on those people who are new money. You think they are trying to be part of rich society, they are trying too hard to be accepted by old money.
*feud:
A feud is a quarrel in which two people or groups remain angry with each other for a long time, although they are not always fighting or arguing.
*to hold a gudge:
Continue to be angry about something that happened a long time ago. Especially in a situation where you don\'t have any reason to be angry still.
