Harry and Toto is a 26 x 10 minute flash animation series for pre-schoolers from Handle and Spout Productions,
which has created an opposite world for Harry the Hare and Toto the Tortoise. They live at opposite ends of
Opposite town and by tackling opposite combinations in every episode they realise that to every fast there is a
slow and for every door that closes, another opens.
Episode Description:
01 - Day And Night 02 June 2008)
Harry is an early riser while Toto isn't very good in the mornings. Today, Harry can't get Toto to wake up. So
Harry decides to make something that will change Toto's life: a very special clock.
02 - Quiet And Loud 21 July 2008)
Toto is about to settle down to some quiet music when there's a very loud sound. Harry has become a one-man band!
Toto suggests that Harry might like to visit the library and read a book quietly.
03 - Summer And Winter 16 June 2008)
The sun is blazing and Harry and Toto are finding it very hard to keep cool. Harry wishes it was winter, but
luckily they find Patrick the Penguin and his ice cream van.
04 - Big And Small 23 June 2008)
Horace the Horse has a big parcel for Toto and a small one for Harry. In fact, Harry's is so small, he can't even
be bothered to open it.
05 - Stop And Go 04 August 2008)
Harry builds a go kart, hoping to become the fastest hare on earth. Speeding through Opposite Town, he doesn't
notice the red traffic lights and crashes into a tree. PC Barry the Bear suggests driving school where he and Toto
help Harry to learn the different between Stop and Go.
06 - Up And Down 14 July 2008)
It's the Festival of Flight in Opposite Town and when Toto is picked first for a hot air balloon ride, Harry is
very jealous. Too impatient to wait for his turn, Harry opts for an aeroplane ride instead. Only it's not just a
ride - it's a parachute jump!
07 - Laugh And Cry 28 July 2008)
Harry's new remote control plane makes him laugh with joy. But when he crashes it into his foot and breaks it, he
cries. Toto takes him to see Doctor Crystal at Opposite Town's Hospital.
08 - Land And Sea 30 June 2008)
Toto and Harry are looking forward to their holiday. Harry can't wait to splash about in the sea, but Toto wants
to stay dry.
09 - Lost And Found 07 July 2008)
Harry has looked everywhere for his red car. Perhaps if he was a little bit tidier, like Toto, he wouldn't have
lost it in the first place. Then, on a trip to Opposite Stores for some boxes, they find an unusual teapot and
take it to PC Barry the Bear.
10 - Stand And Sit 09 June 2008)
Opposite Town's residents want to see the latest blockbuster movie starring Opposite Man, Harry's favourite
superhero. To Harry's dismay, the only seats left for him and Toto are right at the back and they can't see a
thing.
11 - Empty And Full 11 August 2008)
Toto is delighted to receive a lunch invitation from Harry, but Harry has forgotten to buy any food. At Gillie the
Giraffe's Opposite Stores, Harry gets his trolley overflowing, but when they get back to the house the shopping
bag is empty. Will Toto ever get his lunch?
12 - Open And Closed 18 August 2008)
It's Harry's birthday and he can't wait to open his presents. But there's no sign of Horace the Horse, the
postman. After struggling to cram a pile of parcels into his van, Horace is eventually on his way - but the back
door hasn't shut properly.
13 - Old And New 25 AUgust 2008)
Harry is sick of all his old things and decides to de-clutter his house. He also decides he wants new friends, and
dumps Toto for Eric the elephant. Luckily, a trip to the library to enjoy some history books reminds Harry that
new doesn't always mean better.
14 - Easy And Difficult 01 September 2008)
Harry has just learned to count and helps Toto with his difficult jigsaw puzzle. In fact, Harry is determined to
help as many of Opposite Town's residents as he can. But when Gillie the Giraffe has a difficult sum to do, Harry
gets all hot and bothered. A trip to Patrick's ice cream van cools him down and Harry discovers that sometimes you
can find the answer to a problem when you're not really looking for it.
15 - Fast And Slow 08 September 2008)
Harry and Toto decide to play a swapping game. While Harry tries to do everything slowly, Toto rushes around
Opposite Town, helped by Carmen the Chicken's energy boosting pizza. Will the two friends understand each other
better - or will it be a recipe for disaster?
16 - Over And Under 15 September 2008)
Harry can't resist a peak at the building site, despite PC Barry the Bear's warnings. Harry soon finds out that
rules are there for a reason - a lesson PC Barry makes sure he learns. While Toto goes under the ground for a trip
on the train, Harry remains over the ground, on his own.
17 - In And Out 29 January 2009)
While Harry enjoys going out and about, Toto prefers to stay in, writing to his friends. The thought of a
delicious picnic entices Toto out to the park but Harry's high spirits result in his front door key going into the
postbox instead of the letter.

While at the Opposite Town Sports Day, Harry discovers that slow and steady really can win the day.
19 - Freeze And Melt 30 January 2009)
Harry has organised a surprise for Toto - an ice sculpture of the two friends. Imagine his disappointment when the
statue mysteriously disappears.

It's a windy day in Opposite Town and there are lots of things blowing about.

It's Patrick the penguin's birthday and there's a surprise party in store. Eager to help, Harry offers to make a
