最近开始研究孩子的学习问题,为了能够了解美国学校对于入学小孩的基本要求,我买了一些参考书,里面提到大多数州对于小孩子入学时的要求(进入学前班)。说“要求”不太合适,因为美国小学入学不需要考试,应该说是对于能够进入学前班学习的小孩的“期望值”吧。 大家帮忙看看这个要求对比国内有多大的差距。

Speech and Language Development:
· Speaks in complete sentences.
· Speaks clearly enough to be understood by someone who does not know him or her well.
· Communicates well with peers.
· Can rhyme and recognizes rhyming sounds.
· Identify the beginning sound of some words.
· Identify some alphabet letters.
· Tells the meaning of some simple words, like “stop”.
· Can recite ABC’s and count to ten.
· Asks questions.
· Looks at pictures and can tell stories about them.
· Can answer questions about a short story.
