2015狮子王续集（铁卫雄狮之咆哮归来 The Lion Guard：Return of the Roar）
在《狮子王》上映并成为动画片经典的21年之后，迪士尼将在2016年1月1日推出电视续集，辛巴的儿子奇恩将带领《狮子护卫队 The Lion Guard》登上迪士尼频道。这部电视动画的先行TV电影《铁卫雄狮之咆哮归来 The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar》于今年11月22日率先推出。
剧情简介：
《狮子护卫队》再次将背景设置在非洲广袤的大草原上，讲述了狮子王辛巴与娜娜的第二个孩子奇恩（Kion）的故事。基恩在这部影片中即将成为狮子守卫者这个保护荣耀王国队伍的领导。片中新增的角色有一只叫小野（Ono）的白鹭，一只名为富力（Fuli）的印度豹和一只叫做Beshte的河马。
续集中的主角就是奇恩，然而不同于前作的是，奇恩邀请来其他动物伙伴加入了这只狮子护卫队。这只护卫队的动物们利用各自独一无二的能力来面对他们遇到的问题，保护他们共同的家园。于此同时，观众们还能够欣赏到广袤的非洲草原上各种各样的动物。
Set in the African Savanna, the film follows Kion as he assembles the members of the 'Lion Guard'. Throughout the film, the diverse team of young animals will learn how to utilize each of their unique abilities to solve problems and accomplish tasks to maintain balance within the Circle of Life, while also introducing viewers to the vast array of animals that populate the prodigious African landscape.
