英语跟汉语一样,是有语言修辞的,不是说一味写简单就是好文章。
比如:拟声、头韵、尾韵、连续重复、平行结构等从语言形式和声音上都能体现的修辞,比如,拟声:I see advancing upon all this in hideousonslaught the Nazi war machine,with its clanking,heel-clinking,dandified Prussian officers……(Winston S.Churchill:Speech on Hitlerπs Invasion of the U.S.S.R.)

我觉得大家在评论英语和中文学习时还是要搞清楚是在学习母语,还是学习外语。外语学习和母语学习的要求一定是不一样的。跟应试不应试关系真不大。也不用太抱怨国内的考试,国外标准化考试一样有吐槽的。我学生还吐槽说学术论文写得像学术八股。
说出国,家长很多时候因为自身英语限制,并不能客观看自己孩子的英语水平,飘飘然的过了启蒙期,然后忽视了十岁往上大好时机,这个时期其实是真正渴望深度广度资料,效果幂指数增长read to learn的时期。因为所有科目压力下来,忙的手忙脚乱。等需要高分考t考g考sat的时候,发现自己孩子的英语还是需要狠狠补,因为平时还是没有用起来融入进去。得,语文不行,英语也不够,海龟后会被讽刺的。因为反映了学习能力问题。还有家长自己得意小算盘打的精,觉得借助初中高中送出去,英语就省心不用管了,自然跟得上。问题是你娃在国内学习出现问题,放国外同样会有而且会更扩大。而人家会学习的,没有国外环境没双语学校,还能把英语语文理科学的好,就说明人家:会学习有学习方法,家里教育非常到位(当然不爱思考学习别人的人也可以安慰自己别人是天赋加持)。你在外面一样要面临竞争,然后被华丽的踩在下面。
