About the Author
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Jackie Hunter earned her master of education from Virginia Commonwealth University and spent her career working in school administration and as a middle-school math and science teacher.
Inspired by her students’ love of Mars, Hunter chose to write about a teen’s life on the red planet. She now divides her time between Richmond and Suwanee, Georgia, home of her daughter, Ramirra, and her son-in-law, Jerry Stackhouse.
