as well as 以及 = and 和but the hermit was mighty at magic and at prayer

我知道as well as是and的意思，只是不明白这个at prayer在这里是什么意思。因为结合上下文，这句要说的是这个人有魔力，可以把mouse变成tiger，也可以把它变回去。这个at prayer又是要表达什么意思呢?

我的意见：

but the hermit was mighty at magic as well as at prayer
=
but the hermit was mighty at magic and was mighty at prayer
=
but the hermit was mighty at magic and the hermit was mighty at prayer

意思是：隐士既拥有强大的魔法也非常擅长祈祷。

没有看上下文，仅凭这句的语法理解是这样的。

隐士不是都在祷告这方面很强么，这句话的意思是隐士的法术也很强，就像他擅长祷告一样,mighty这里同strong,do very well

at这里不是连着prayer而是mighty,意思同be good at相似,be might at...在某方面很强
