求助，帮我看看通顺不?英语看图说话 show and tell

请帮我看看这段话有没有什么语法错误，句子能不能尽量改得更简单一些和句式整齐一些。
I like painting. I painted the picture by myself.it is a story. There are a food-tree and a beautiful house in the forest ,there are many foods in the tree,hamburger,icecream, doughnut, lollipop,star cake , chocolate .it is a windy day,mummy and daddy climbed up the ladder, mummy pick a doughnut,daddy pick a hamburger.some foods in the tree are blown down by the winds.it is a surprise. I and my brother is very happy,my brother pick up a bread, I pick up a lollipop,and now winds is stop, so we go home and enjoy delicious food.the end.

谢谢啦，最开始我用的过去时，我怕孩子搞混就全部用成了现在时，看来还是要改过来。 1. 故事有时过去式有时现在式
2. mummy picks, daddy picks, my brother picks第三人称单数
3. my brother and I
4. my borther and I are very happy
5. 有时写 winds is 有时写 winds are，你这里应该用 the wind is 吧, winds 得是多复杂的环境啊
不知说的对不对，权当参考 There are (应当用 is) a food-tree and a beautiful house in the forest ,there are many foods (应当用 there is some food) in the tree,hamburger,icecream, doughnut, lollipop,star cake , chocolate .
there be 句子的ｂｅ动词要看列举的最近的一个名词。
