The Talking Tyrannosaurus Rex
Hello everyone,my name is Rose.I'm nine years old.Meet my ten-year-old sister Rosseta and my eleven-year-old sister Silvermist.I have a dog,Sukie.We are detectives!
Now it was midnight,the moon lit the way. I was supposed to be in my soft cozy bed,sleeping soundly, but I was in our school's backyard with my dog and two sisters. We were on a case, a midnight case.We were here because of a tyrannosaurus rex. Let's just call it T.Rex for easy.
This morning, Rosseta, Silvermist and I were talking about our classmates when we went to our classroom. It all seemed normal, until we passed the history room.
The history room had manyancient but famous people. It had model dinosaurs,too. I loved dinosaurs. I said,"Let's go and have a look at the dinosaurs,come on!"
The dinosaur I likedmost of all was pteranodon, a flying reptile.
" Hey!"said Silvermist,"Look at that model dinasaur, I have never seen it before! What kind of dinosaur is that?"
"It's a T.Rex." saidRosseta.
I looked up when I heard that. I started at the giant creature.
" I wonder how smart he is!"said Silvermist.
" Very smart!" said Rosseta.
" Don't count on it! His brain's probably no bigger than a bean!" I said.
"Can he talk? " asked Rosseta.
" Of course he can't! Don't be silly!" I said.
"Of course I can!" bellowed a voice.
Ilooked back, the T.Rex was staring at me with his small beady eyes!
"And, I'm very smart!" bellowed the T.Rex.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!" screamed Silvermist.
We scrambled out of the history room.
