1、选取一套国外教材
2、开设图书馆使用课程，每周有一次图书馆自由阅读课
3、每学期有原版精读课，其课程价值主要在于讲文学
4、没有抄写，没有默写，没有练习卷，但有大量阅读要求和写作练笔。阅读和写作随堂测验，注重日积月累，而非考前复习。
5、倡导自主学习，具有独立学习能力。

Our second major assignment is a 5-paragraph research report (with accompanying project in later weeks) on a space-related topic. Students were assigned their topic or chose their own if they preferred. This week, students are to plan their research reports based on sources they find. They are to take notes on their Research Organizers, list their sources on the Sources Used page, and bring in all resources they use for their quiz score next week. If a website is used, please assist students in printing out the page directly from the URL, or send the URL to me for printing. Students need to find no fewer than 2 sources, but no more than 4, for this assignment. Please review the letter I sent home with these instructions.
The homework was as follows:
1.Homework box signed by parents
2.Get your parents to sign the parent letter
3.Find resources, take notes, and fill in the Research Organizer (for people or for objects, depending on topic) and the Sources Used page
4.Bring in ALL resources you used to take notes next week!!! There will be no quiz on Day 5--your preparation for this will be your quiz score!
5.Prepare for your 1st draft by organizing your paragraph ideas on page 36 of the textbook (there is an example of this on the back of the parent letter)
