PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
It is with some sadness I write what may be the final news-letter of the school year a little earlier than usual, however we are in unusual times with unusual circumstances.
Thank you to our entire parent community for your support throughout this year. It has mostly been a thrilling year with many, many exciting events and tremendous ac-complishments. Students, classrooms and teams have grown together and there are many, many happy and proud stories to reminisce over.
However, there have been many challenges the District has had to face and go through, one of which was the deep layoffs that teachers felt in May as the District struggled to build a balanced budget and make room for returning teachers. At our school we felt the effect of this situation as many of our teachers received layoff notices. This year, at least for now, we are saying farewell to Ms. XXX, Mr. XXX, Mr. XXX, Ms. XXX, Ms. XXX, Mr. XXX, Mrs. XXX, Ms. XXXX, Ms. XXX and Ms. XXX. Through the posting process we are hoping to get these wonderful educators back. We will miss them and wish everyone a wonderful, fun and exciting journey.
