Cindy's class on Nov 22: Review Day on Theme 1 & 2 (Book 2.1) We did a review on the following topics to prepare for the mid-term exam on this coming Friday:--character and setting of a story--job and job functions in a school (principal, teacher, nurse, librarian, ....)--simple past tense (lock / locked, hop / hopped, ....)--rhyming words (cat / hat, bake / cake, .....)--plural "s" and "es" (cat / cats, kiss / kisses, .....)--photo with caption (a sentence next to a photo to tell the reader more information about the photo)--how to rearrange vocabularies in alphabetical order HW:Practice book p. 41 Cindy's class on Nov 23: Review Day on Theme 3 & 4 (Book 2.1) We did a review on the following topics to prepare for the mid-term exam on this coming Friday:--Who and what is:author / illustrator / table of contents / title--add "ing" to verbs ending in "e":(dive / diving, etc)--add "ed" to verbs ending in "e":(rinse / rinsed, wipe / wiped, etc)--Identify the subject in a sentence--students use drawings to show their understanding on some vocabularies HW:Review all highlighted vocabularies and make sure you understand the words. *****************************************************************************************
